Landlords in England will be expected to evict tenants who lose the right to live in the UK under new measures to clamp down on illegal immigration. They will be able to end tenancies, sometimes without a court order, when asylum requests fail, ministers say. Read full article

This is inhumane. Most of these immigrants come from the British and French colonies which for centuries were exploited by their cities. The West has denied them the past and denies them the future now.

@1. Really? Eritrea was a vassal state of the Ethiopian and Ottoman Empires. And then Italy. Ethiopia remained independent until the Italians invaded in 1936. Sudan was mostly Egyptian. Libya is down to the Ottoman Empire and the Italians. Where do the British and French come into it? Britain had a small protectorate in the north but most of the country was Italian Somaliland and French Somaliland.

So why aren't the Italians taking the majority? And for those migrants from the French area, they are already in France! Where's their “right” to come to Britain?

See how little you know. Back to learning to pick pockets.

“UK landlords must evict illegal immigrants under new legislation”

    but, why??
millions of englanders are invading the most beautiful countries of europe, that is france, spain and italy.
    and nobody is expelling them...yet.

now, the sudanese, ethiopians, somali, pakies, etc are the new british.
they have more rights to live in england than the english.

and trust me, there is no way to stop the african immigrants to live in england.
it is their place on earth.

    @4 pobre-cedron
As always you confuse illegal immigration with legal internal EU migration.

Still, 'legality' has always been a grey area in Argentina. How could you possibly know any different?

    islen
as soon as england or the uk or britain is expelled from the e.u., all those englanders living in spain, italy and france wil be considered ilegal immigrants.
they will have to return to that cesspit called england.
and that will happen sooner than later, no doubts.

    you have to face it.
not even the english want to live in england.

they are lucky that the somali, pakis, tanganyikans, llanitos and isleteers want to live there.

I wish we had the balls in the USA to refuse service to illegals let alone deporting them. I am sick of paying their college tuition in Massachusetts.....It's time we start verify legal status for licences, healthcare, renting apartments, jobs........

Potty Paul. Shows how little you know. England is packed with Italians, Spaniards, Greeks and various other Club Medists working as waiters and chambermaids because all their economies are on their knees. If Brits had to go so will all these people back to life with no work.. The British economy is booming. And, the EU wont eject Britain, but, we might leave, they need us more than we need them. Inhumane ?? What a pity.......has this screwed your plans to enter the UK illegally and be a bum-boy ?
As to the 2nd part of your rubbish post, Conqueror @2, has more than proven what an ignorant prick you are.
I say kick them all out, send them back to where they came from !

    @4 & 6 Paul
Since the UK is such a shitty place, which the illegals will only realize after they sneak in, how about sending a couple of million down to Argentina, where adapting would be far easier, given that they would be very much in their own element ??

It's businesses, at least in the USA that need to be punished and severely for hiring these illegals. Once the jobs and apartments dry up for illegals, so will the illegals.

@4, 6. Thanks for raising the matter of “invasion”. A subject you'll know about. Your “country” conducted an invasion in 1982. Remember who kicked you out? Seems you've been told about legal and illegal migration before.

Let's make something clear. These Africans, Asians etc that sneak into Britain are illegal. People from Europe who enter are, prima facie, entering legally.

When the UK leaves the EU, the British government has already made it clear that they will be free to remain. Although their status and “rights” might change somewhat.

However, if countries like your examples of france, italy and spain start to expel Britons simply for having migrated during the EU period, then matters will change. There would be no reason not to expel those nationalities. What's sauce for the goose etc. And, just for a laugh, 7.7% of the population of the UK is from the EU, whilst only 3.8%, of those we know about, are from outside the EU. That'll be more than 4 million from the EU that we can send back. We'll be sure to let them know you made us think of it!

    lets see...
#8, the voice of the pelotudez:
“England is packed with Italians, Spaniards, Greeks and various other Club Medists...”

but according to the university of oxford, the top 9 sender countries of migrants by country of birth are:

    Country of birth
    India
    Poland
    Pakistan
    Ireland
    South Africa
    United States
    Nigeria
    Bangladesh
    Sri Lanka

neither spain nor france nor italy.

now it is funny because at the santa maría polo club in sotogrande, there was a pair of english waiters, really nice people, but their big problem was that they did not speak a word in any other language other than english and a very, very basic spanish.

according to them, the english are not very clever to learn foreign languages, due probably to some genetic issues.

my prediction is: england will be crowded with these new immigrants, and the english will be expelled.
the problem is they are totally useless for the rest of the countries.

    sad, sad, sad.

Ummm. . . Brazil is broke. Your economy is failing and your politicians are corrupt. This is a proven fact.
Brazil is the country of the future, and always will be. It is going nowhere, fast.
India is the only BRICS country with a possible good future. This is because it is an ex-colony of the English and all educated Indians speak English. Also they work damn hard. Something I have rarely seen in South America.

Civil liberties? However if they have been asked to leave the country then if they refuse they can hardly claim civil liberty violations when they themselves are breaking the law. It goes around in circles.

I am extremely proud of living in a multicultural country. I welcome them all as long as they come here legitimately and that includes the large refugee resettlement programme that we run... dwarfing what countries like Argentina and Brazil take in.

Paul seems to think that “pakis, poles, romani, gitanes, etc.” and all the other cultures he denigrates are somehow inferior or something. They all integrate eventually and become part of places like Australia, the UK and the US. My current manager has Iranian heritage and I sit next to a woman who is South African Indian. They don't see themselves as less Australian than I do.

The UK has to do something to dissuade illegal immigration and this doesn't seem overly draconian.

30% of my city was born overseas and another 25% have at least one parent born overseas - that's more than half. We make it work. So does the UK.

“england will be crowded with these new immigrants, and the english will be expelled.”

Well these people aren't moving to places like Argentina or the BRICS now are they. In a generation their children will be English. Unlike Paul, there is not skin colour or accent or culture that people need to conform to to become part of a multicultural country. But then again, Argentina isn't one anyway so it isn't surprising that he is confused by the entire concept.

    33 skippy
    but my dear skippy...
are you sure you are australian?
    because... YOU should know THIS:
“One in five people living in Australia have experienced racist abuse”
“7 in 10 teenagers have experienced racism”
“ 3 in 4 Indigenous Australians regularly experience racism”

    and the most important:
    “Denial of racism in Australia”
YOU are the perfect example of that, uh????
    http://alltogethernow.org.au/racism/

now, nothing of that can be a surprise when you know the tragic history of australia, the massive killings of aborigines perpetrated by the english and all that shite.

    shameful.
and even more shamful is that hypocritical attitude.

    Your point is?

I didn't say we don't have racism. I will clearly state that we do have racism in Australia.

There is not such thing as a racist free country.

And yes, we (as Australians) committed atrocities against the original inhabitants of this continents. Unlike most South American societies we don't blame another country like they do in blaming Spain and the Spanish. We did it. We may have thought of ourselves as British when we did it but we became Australian and we take the responsibility.

Now, let's go back to what you wrote. Does any of that change the facts that I gave in my post?

    Nope! None

What I expect from an Argentinean education.

'The proportion of Australians who were born overseas has hit its highest point in 120 years, with 28 per cent of Australia's population - 6.6 million people - born overseas'
'The number of Australian residents who were born in India increased the most, almost tripling from just 132,800 people in 2004 to 397,200 people in 2014'.
'The number of residents born in China also more than doubled, going from 205,200 persons to 447,400 persons over those ten years'.
    http://www.abs.gov.au/ausstats/abs@.nsf/latestProducts/3412.0Media%20Release12013-14

    Net overseas migration:
    2013-14 212,700
    2012-13 235,700
    2011-12 180,400

That's 628,800 in 3 years! Amazing that we attract so many people considering it is such a bad place to live with all this racism.

And all this racism...... seems we have taken in over 800,000 refugees since 1945 and how many have headed to the racist free paradise of South America?

And then there is the 598,000 international students studying in Australia! Those 23,000 Brazilians (6th largest nationality) must be so unhappy here.

Oh by the way, I am one of those 1 in 5 that has experienced racism - you don't have to be white to be racist.

No facts you have presented have ever change the reality of the world in which you are an unemployed and poor Argentinean that can only dream of life here.

Tell me please what country you know that tobe 5 years a tourist is legal????

    none, that doesn't exist.

You were illegal idiot a cheater doing the “Wetback Rio Grande trick” I have already explained that to you.

Argentina only provides visas like many other countris up to 90 days for turism after that you are required to go to any immigation office to apply for an extention of your visa.

After that you cannot get extention forever anymore so you need to apply for a transitory or permanent residency becuase is simply obvious that you were a resident and not a tourist.

That is what says the law. period

So going back and forth to Colonia was not legal because you are not a Mercosur National.

Even though the immigration man or woman on desk was lax to enforce the law and stampped your passport to don't leave you as an Idiot in a limbo in Puerto Madero Buque Bus docks what you were doing was not legal.

You were abusing and cheating the system and you know that, because in US is also illegal like in any other country.

So your sense of what is legal or illegal is pretty weird like a thief thinking that stealing is legal because he never was caught in the process.

the sad reality is that australia, england, the usa and south africa are the most racist countries in the world by far.

in any decent country, groups like the EDL would have been banned for apology of crime.
only in england you can find official campaigns like this:

Yes yes Paul. Between all your ranting and ravings I think I got the gist of some sort of coherent response.

    We
    Have
    Racism
    In
    Australia

    I have never denied that.

You keep banging on about it hoping that it will eventually mean something. The truth is that Australia, the UK and the US are all more multicultural than Argentina and Brazil. And they are taking in more migrants every year. And people want to live there.

    People
    Want
    To
    Live
    There

So keep talking about racism however people are voting with their feet if these countries are such terrible places to live then why aren't they voting with their feet to YOUR country?

You can't answer that. It doesn't compute. Your inadequate Argentinean education doesn't equip you with the ability to actually argue a point.

Racism exists in every single country INCLUDING Argentina.

The difference is that Argentina isn't terribly multicultural or multiracial. It's mainly Spanish and Italians with a few natives and a couple of others mixed in. It doesn't have hundreds of thousands of recent immigrants mixing in every major city like Australia, the UK and the US.

Those 3 countries will welcome almost HALF your country's population in the decade.

Oooohh such scary racist countries making nearly 2 million people a year move there and subject themselves to constant racism.

Yeah sounds pretty stupid when you think about it.

When Argentina starts letting in 500,000 immigrants mainly from the Middle East, Africa, India and Asia every year so that it is acting more like Australia then we'll discuss how racist and terrible it is to live here.

The article proves how many people want to live in our countries. Their other option is to move into some BsAs slum I guess.

In fact, you should consider the meaning of the word “abuse”. Say nasty things? Kick them? Beat them? Smash faces? Remove genitalia by knife. Bayonet pregnant argie cows (not cattle). Shoot, bomb, missile, gas.
    @36. Prickess!
@38. On the other hand we can look at the racial abuse of argieland's genocide and continued murder of the indigenous (real owners of the land) people.
@40. In any decent country, argies would be exterminated. But the time is coming. Count your remaining days.

“The illegitimate scum can be exterminated anytime.”

im afraid you, dear genetic aberration, are the foreign body there now.
you will be exterminated sooner than later.
first because you are an aberration
second because it is not your place anymore.

    @44 Pablo,

Giving up on the attempt to paint the UK/US/ Commonwealth as racist States??

Could not answer Skip or ilsen?

    Haha Troy

Even if he answered he wouldn't have been very effective anyway. All that bluster of insults and name calling and swearing is how he masks his intellectual deficiencies. He was smart enough to learn English but not smart enough to use it for anything.

Does anybody remember a couple of years back, the Trolls, Thinky, Stevie, TTT, etc. yattering on about visiting the Mercopress office in Montevideo to confront the occupants?

Didn't really work out, did it?

About as believable as Cedron the Goatboy flying to the Islands.

    :-)

    isolda, isolda....
it has nothing to do that the islets are stinky.
they are an integral part of our marvelous country.
we cannot discriminate them just for being a stinky place.

    got-it, my lovely isolda???????????
