As of 9 September 2015 Queen Elizabeth II will be the longest reigning monarch in British history, surpassing the reign of Queen Victoria. The Queen's coronation took place in 1953 which means 2015 marks her 62nd year in power. Read full article

    It's such a shame that these commemorative coins are so expensive. You can buy this £20 coin for £20. Might we want to commemorate Sir Winston Churchill or the Battle of Britain? The least expensive Churchill coin, a £5 Brilliant Uncirculated coin costs £13. The least expensive Battle of Britain coin is a 50p Brilliant Uncirculated for £15.95. Face value £25.50. Cost £48.95.
