After considering the proposals made by opposition parties and NGOs, and irregularities during the recent election for governor in the province of Tucumán, Argentina's top electoral court has announced more than 20 measures aimed at reinforcing the transparency of the October 25 general elections. Simple really.
So the Magistrates also agree that ”the contested Tucumán elections, which saw more than 40 burned ballot boxes, have confirmed 'some of the concerns previously expressed by this tribunal'......”

Are the Magistrates also arrogant ?? or, do you, in your infinite wisdom, know more about the ('corrupt') elections than they do ?

Sep 22nd, 2015 - 05:56 am - Link - Report abuse 0Wow! What an interesting idea Chris! Killing those you don't like! Not even Stalin or Pol Pot would have been so creative.
But seriously, I got news for you. Your idea was stolen many years ago.
Peronism was banned in Argentina from 1955 to 1973. The military enacted Law 4161 by which they prohibited the naming of Juan Peron in newspapers, radio or TV news. The Peronist song was banned as well. Many Peronists were assassinated (although not as many as you would like to kill).
Oh, on another topic. Did you learn that a Tucuman court quashed the ruling annulling the provincial election?
Further: Do you know who won the provincial elections in the Chaco province for 12 percent points?
Enjoy.

Sep 22nd, 2015 - 07:52 am - Link - Report abuse 0Well done Argentina, your slide into oblivion is being slowly assured, you all must be very proud. Don't come to the civilised world for handouts ,we have enough problems with Germany opening pandoras box. Angela Merkel must be kicking herself, don't think she thought that through.

Sep 22nd, 2015 - 04:25 pm - Link - Report abuse 0So the Supreme Court in Tucumán overturned the lower court's decision and validated the election results (for Provincial Governor) despite the gross irregularities (burned ballot boxes and 'creative' vote counting) . Too bad for Argentina. And you of course, are proud that corrupt politics wins again. It's a damned shame, but I'm not going to lose any sleep over it.

You really don't know much at all do you?
In 1934, Stalin used the murder of Sergey Kirov as a pretext to launch the Great Purge, in which about a million people perished. Wikipedia.
And that was without the purge of the army in which nearly all the middle and higher ranks were executed and resulted in the USSR nearly losing to the Germans. (my own knowledge due to military studies)
”Pol Pot (1925-1998) and his communist Khmer Rouge movement led Cambodia from 1975 to 1979. During that time, about 1.5 million Cambodians out of a total population of 7 to 8 million died of starvation, execution, disease or overwork. Some estimates place the death toll even higher. One detention center, S-21, was so notorious that only seven of the roughly 20,000 people imprisoned there are known to have survived.”
What a pity Peronism returned: they didn't do a good enough job, did they, typical argie fuck-up!

OK, I get it. You ONLY propose to kill 25,000 peronist officials in order to terrorize 15 million others.
Would that make you better than Pol Pot and Stalin because they killed greater numbers?
