The amount of hypocrisy in the face of cheating corporations is astounding. It goes on to show how ridiculous the trickle-down theory that says: “let us be rich and we'll perhaps give you a job.”
Instead, these sorry stories show people should not be sitting and waiting for corporations to do the right thing.
In spite of the myth created by interested parties, a democratic state remains the only hope that wealth will be shared as we go--not in a distant, nebulous future.

It will all blow over when more level headed technical reporting is seen.

You only have to look at the furore with the fly-by-wire glitch when Audi were at the cutting edge with it. Now any car NOT having FBW is seen as a down market vehicle.

The yanks are always the last to get the message to the masses. Hardly surprising when you look at YouTube and see many of them cannot name a country beginning with U, like the example the interviewer gives: the United States of America. DOH! :o)
