United Kingdom servicemen and women around the world have joined the nation in marking two minutes’ silence at 11:00 on Armistice Day, November 11. Armistice Day marks the moment - at the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month when the First World War Armistice was signed more than 90 years ago in a railway carriage stationed in the Forest of Compiègne in Northern France.     I paid respect, and I hope others across the world did also. A very important occasion.
    Time to reflect upon 'humanity', and what we could/should become.
    I am humbled by their sacrifice, yet warned against future horror.

    We should all take time to think in what we create.

    I did, and took my son.
    Fantastic turnout by the public.

    However, this is the first time I have seen RCMP at the ready with high powered military-looking weapons, on the ground mingling with the crowd.
