Prime Minister David Cameron says he is “hopeful” of reaching a deal with European leaders in February that will allow him to hold the UK's EU referendum. The prime minister said the in-out vote “would follow” if agreement was reached on his reforms at next month's summit. He also said he would stay on as PM even if he ended up on the losing side. Good points from the Guardian today.

    http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2016/jan/11/europe-turn-tables-bullying-britain-david-cameron-eu

“half of British trade is with the EU, but only 11% of EU trade is with Britain”.

“So let us start talking now, out loud in Brussels as well as in Europe’s opinion pages and in national parliaments, about the offer we are going to make to the Scots, should they prefer Brussels to London in the event of Brexit. Let’s also discuss in which ways we are going to repatriate financial powers from London to the European mainland. It is strange enough that Europe’s financial centre lies outside the eurozone, but to have it outside the EU? That would be like placing Wall Street in Cuba.”

    Demands lol.

    UK needs to exit asap.
The EU is an anchor around its neck.

There's no reason it can't have free trade with the EU but it certainly doesn't have to pay for that free trade by being held hostage by unelected bureaucrats in Brussels.

This is a group that formally supports staying in,
But, alas the truth is abound, read it,
And their very own conclusion is to GET OUT.

Yesterday unmighty Cameron stated [he wants to stay]
Thus all negotiations were and are a complete waste of time,
    He has conned us all,
Lies and deceit, and as he has made no arrangements for a withdrawal, this means in my mind that he has every intention of staying in and dragging us with him,

The vote will be rigged, especially if it’s a close run thing,

The people need to vote by a big margin to get out,
Before we are all destroyed by these corrupt self-righteous conmen.
    OUT OUT NOW.

@1. “Points” from something Dutch? Half of British trade is only with the EU only if one accepts the Antwerp/Rotterdam Fit Up whereby containerised goods, irrespective of destination, are counted as imports to the EU. But then the EU always cheats and lies. In reality, no more than 25% of Britain's trade is with the EU.

@5. You need to be real. You call yourself “Briton”. What's your nationality, your place of residence, where you work?

Can you give examples of the number of times that British political votes have been “rigged”.

However much you may hate Cameron, for your own bigoted excuses, if you want to be taken seriously, you need to demonstrate “substance”. Want to try for “credibility”?

Not interested in Scotland, they can do what the hell they like. But for the rest of us, I sincerely hope we leave and reinstate ourselves on the world stage. We don't need the EU, but they need us. They will fall apart im sure of it.

    We need to leave

“Can you give examples of the number of times that British political votes have been “rigged”. ”

1/ The Eastleigh by-election and 2/ Thanet south general election result.

Come on WAKE UP!!! This EU referendum result is too important to our EU masters to be left to chance!! If they need an “IN” vote then an “IN” vote is what they will get, by fair means or foul.

We have seen it time and time again. this EU is rotten to the core and we need to get out for all our sakes but it is not going to be easy, they will rely on the postal vote system which questionable at the very least ( as they did in Eastleigh ) or come up with some subtle way of swinging the vote their way.

I hear you brother. Stay on the road even though it may be rocky and full of pot holes. Keep the faith when those around you weaken and fail but above all else remember the old saying:-

6 - very well Ill go with your reality, a mere 25% of Britain's trade is with the EU.

A strong bargaining position in which to make demands if ever there was one.

The EU is in deep crisis and in desperate need of real, structural reform. Over the next decade Europe could lose up to 30% of its current slice of world trade. Power, influence and wealth is fast moving away from Europe.
