I wonder how the US managed to kidnap them from the utopia that is Venezuela, only to arrest them outside the country?
Perhaps she has earned the title TMBOV! Regulars don't need it explaining, do they?
So?

Might is right.
She said the government had proof that the DEA had conducted an illegal operation on Venezuelan soil and “violated our sovereignty.”

Isn't there some sort of papel bull to go with all this?

@ 8 and @9
Yeah, sure, like the guy who spent 18 years i a US jail, to be proven innocent by DNA tests. They should have killed the innocent guy many years ago, shouldn't they?
Sheesh, a couple of imbecile communists who think police and court are right by definition.

Jan 15th, 2016 - 04:47 pm - Link - Report abuse 0No need to go off the deep end - no one here is a communist.....you sound like those liberal numbnuts who, after losing the argument, resort to calling their opponents 'racists'...typical, seen plenty of them.
Anyhow, on principle, what you are saying (about DNA) is correct....however, in this case, it's not a matter of taking them to trial to determine whether they are guilty or not, or if they deserve to be punished or not....their arrest - or kidnapping, whichever you prefer - was the result of months of investigation. Just because the evidence collected over months is not divulged to the general public, does not mean they are poor innocent bystanders, caught up in some conspiracy. I suppose you defend Diosdado Cabello and believed he too is innocent of all accusations......don't you ?

I am one of those liberal perverted numbnuts who believe in a fair trial before the guilty is punished and the innocent is set free. Obviously not a very popular idea in your mind.
Josef Stalin, for example, could have said what Bauer (it means peasant) and Spankingboy wrote.
@13 Don Alberto
Jan 16th, 2016 - 08:05 pm - Link - Report abuse 0There you go generalizing again......As I have already stated, on principle what you are saying is not wrong, but in the case in question - note : I'm being specific - what is the use of imprisoning those two notorious drug dealers after an expensive trial, just so that you can spend taxpayer money to keep them alive ? how about all the deaths they are (indirectly) responsible for ?
Also, since you brought Stalin up, I presume you are aware of the fact that, despite his being instrumental in helping defeat Nazi Germany, he was responsible for constant violations of human rights, massacres and mass executions without trial.......I suppose too, that just because he was never tried for his crimes - therefore not guilty - you think he must be innocent .....Don Alberto, take the blinkers off ...
As to surname Bauer - according to Wikipedia - it is of early German origin, and is either a status name for a small farmer or a nickname meaning 'neighbour', 'fellow citizen', 'someone who cultivates the land', thus 'peasant farmer'. So what is your point ? or was the reference just for the sake of general information ??

@15 Don Alberto
Jan 16th, 2016 - 09:58 pm - Link - Report abuse 0I DO understand that my statement - in this particular case - means to kill the SOBs.......Have a suggestion for you, until they are tried, they are 'presumably' innocent.....why don't you invite them to spend some time with you and your family ? after all, I'm quite sure that the accusations are pure nonsense...
And why the reference to the meaning of 'Bauer” ? just curious...
