Unlikely that Macri will waste any of his 30 mins on the Falklands although I don't doubt that some will claim he did. After all, the matter is already settled.

Let's hope that, on this occasion, the heads of government of the UK and Argentina each conduct themselves with respect for the other. Unlike the most recent meetings when the Kretina failed to observed any niceties.

I think Mercopress is counting chickens befre they are hatched. The claim to the islands will not be surrendered or watered down and relations with important tradfing partners will not be done away with. Macri and above all Malacorra are pragmatic. Bersides in Corbyn the patient work of Ambassador Alicia Castro has shown its true value. It is the first time that the leader of one of the major parties advicatyes negotiations and ending the conclictive confrontation.

Repeating the same tired phrases all the time indicates lack of imagination and restricted vocabulary - rather like parrots.

Lets hope for a sensible discussion and further talks on mutual interests.

@4 Ignoring is the best option for @3.

Cristina lacked any ability as a President. She didn't understand diplomacy or how to conduct herself. She is an activist and childish rebel. It was always like inviting a toddler to attend a adult's dinner when she attended functions at this level.

She is strangely quiet these days. For an activist.

Macri is going to beg to be let into the OECD.
    Is he nuts?
How in the world would he think Argentina qualifies?
Someone should remind him its still a basket case and will be for a long time to come.

You have identified exactly what sets “chronic” apart from real Yankees.

On the other thread where chronic was showing off and trumpeting his own special wonderfulness whilst jumping on the 'American' bandstand to berate ElaineB,, he offered to send her a car to pick her up at Chicago's O'Hare airport - to prove he was who he said he was.

When DerkeBlake called him out for being a fake, and challenging him to send that car, “chronic” started his furious backpedalling.

He had pompously overplayed his hand and was hoisted with his own petard.

“Chronic” lashed back desperately calling myse

    I'm thinking he meant,,,,
“One who trades securities on a small time, even amatuerish fashion.”

    or he could have meant...

    “It's a campsite. A pikey campsite.”
    “What are we doing here?”
    “We're buying a caravan.”
“Off a pack of fucking pikeys? What's wrong with you? This will get messy...Oh, you bastard. I fucking hate pikers.”
                                                        ...love that movie...

Mirth… important meeting sidelined by trollfest.

Lets hope Macri is a better diplomat. Meetings with Ireland?, UK ,US, Netherlands, Israel, France and a half hour with the Swiss. Is he after Argentinas missing millions stolen by the Peronistas and stuffed into Swiss banks?

Funny tipically-biased Mercopress headline. When do meetings between heads of state last longer, unless on an official visit??? My God, you do need an editor

hang on! I thought 'Chronic' professed to be Chilean?
    ...
Oh, whatever... it's only internet troll stuff...

However, I would like her/him/it-self to explain why the UK is “irrelevant” ...

Having one of the largest economies on the globe, seat at UN Security Council, major military force, Centre of Global Finance, Head of a Commonwealth of 53 Countries/2.2 billion people... etc
    ummm.....
    please explain?

One small thing that will help communication is that Macri speaks good English. He used to always speak to my wife in English in order to practice.

It must be a refreshing change for everyone to be able to have an intelligent conversation with a realist rather than the mad screeching one who always turned up late.
