You can only buy something if you have money or credit.
    Alas Argentina has neither.

How many of these idiotic articles have we seen over the years. Big announcements that are not worth the paper they're printed on...

    And cowardice!

You can still buy WWII French rifles marked up 'only been thrown down in mud once'.

    Exocet... France; Britain's ally...
Why does Argentina need to bolster its “dilapidated” Forces: why not use the money to improve things for the people. Who is going to attack Argentina anyway: its just an unnecessary Expense for another Viagra attempt at Image.

“But of even greater interest, according to ambassador Casas, are the Mirage F 1, which France offered to the previous Argentine government, to replace those decommissioned by the Argentine Air Force. The offer is still on.”

Dream on-there have been no Mirage F1s in service with the FAA, only Mirage 111s

Please do supply F1s though -they are 1970s technology even if upgraded.

“You Saxons have always wanted to invade Patagonia in Chile”

    When?

Are we supposed to be scared by your video?

Thanks for show casing the British Lynx helicopter and the Gripen which has 30% British parts.

The Argentines had good British kit in 1982.

But not British servicemen to use it.

Had they used British mercenaries. as in 1833, who knows?

Your kit seems more serviceable than the Argentine kit, I'll grant you that, but triumphal music won't be any use if you take on the Brits.

The Germans tried that in WW2.

    Who won?

“when most of South American presidents attended, the air cover was the responsibility of Uruguay's Air Force A37 Cessna Dragonfly on request from Argentina.”

Look on the bright side, now the air cover is Pucaras and machine gun equipped Tucanos.

    Brasileiro (
You Saxons have always wanted to invade Patagonia in Chile,

    Whence once we were SAXONS,
Your ancestors were the bunch of vandals / goths who lost espannia to the moors,

    Whence once we were English,
Your ancestors were Portuguese and Spanish,
    And the slaughter began.

Whence one as of now we were/are British,
You shrugged of your masters, and went downhill,
And have never looked back since.

The past may be dodgy, but your future looks certain…..

    Happy valentine’s day….
