Why does Argentina need to bolster its dilapidated Forces: why not use the money to improve things for the people. Who is going to attack Argentina anyway: its just an unnecessary Expense for another Viagra attempt at Image.
But of even greater interest, according to ambassador Casas, are the Mirage F 1, which France offered to the previous Argentine government, to replace those decommissioned by the Argentine Air Force. The offer is still on.
Dream on-there have been no Mirage F1s in service with the FAA, only Mirage 111s
Please do supply F1s though -they are 1970s technology even if upgraded.

The Argentines had good British kit in 1982.
But not British servicemen to use it.
Had they used British mercenaries. as in 1833, who knows?
Your kit seems more serviceable than the Argentine kit, I'll grant you that, but triumphal music won't be any use if you take on the Brits.
The Germans tried that in WW2.

when most of South American presidents attended, the air cover was the responsibility of Uruguay's Air Force A37 Cessna Dragonfly on request from Argentina.
Look on the bright side, now the air cover is Pucaras and machine gun equipped Tucanos.
