American Airlines axes Caracas New-York until market conditions improve

American Airlines said this week it will ax its Caracas to New York route on April 4 due to low demand just over three months after reinstating it. The surprise move comes amid a years-long battle between American Airlines Group and the Venezuelan government in which the world's largest airline says it has not been able to repatriate revenue. It's quite surprising the USA is still allowing Venezuelans into the country.
Usually when a country is under collapse they shut off most of the travel visas.

If you want to see expatriate venezolanos you must go to Panamá. I have just been there and their presence is everywhere especially, according to the locals, in the number of multi-storey high rises being built in Panamá City.
