    Hi, Skip!

    There is a terrible shortage of Martyrs and Devoted Patriots in the political community of the whole of Latin America. If this was not the case;
    - the Latin American Spring could have erupted decades ago and
    - Latin America could have enjoyed the fruits of being on par with the First World Countries; instead of remaining doomed forever as a bunch of Under-Developed Countries and made a laughing stock of the rest of the world.

    On the Contrary, it is also true that the people get the governments which they deserve!

    REF: Lula/D.R.: Unfortunately in Brazil, The BIGGEST problem with these political jokes; is that they ALWAYS get elected!

    THAT is the ONLY reason why a country like Brazil - with a great potential - is held at ransom by the common crooks.

    The questions:
    #1: if Lula/D.R. should have ANY power at all or not and
    #2: should they be prosecuted as common criminals or not;
    must be voted - DIRECTLY - by the population itself - in a plebiscite or referendum. This is the only way by which it will be possible:
    - to stop the crooks from going on making fools of the Brazilians
    - taking the Brazilians for a never-ending ride and
    - to hear the “Voice of the People”

    Good to see that corruption in S. America shows no sign of abating. And it is all done in such a brazen way - still it is amazing what you can get away with when take such a brazen approach.

    My reasoning is as follows:
    Fact #1: Microcephaly is associated with NO or INCOMPLETE Brain-Development.
    Fact #2: It is transmitted by te Zica Virus
    Fact #3: For generations, Brazil is infested with Zica Virus
    : Hence if the Brazilians prefer corrupt governments; the fault lies with the Zica Virus!

    very brazen response to the protests that are growing daily. It really does show how truly guilty she is as this move says it all. You start by lying, then you have to cover that lie with another lie, soon enough you are in it so deep you have to cover the person you lied to as well

    If one lies frequently; it goes down the history as TRUTH!

    The other side of the coin is that: There is a terrible shortage - a total absence in fact - of Martyrs and Devoted Patriots in the Political Community.

    Not only brazen but stupid! surely she, and Lula and supporters, know the old rules of dictatorships operating in a controlled news and commentary vacuum no longer apply. Via social media millions can be brought out onto the streets in a twinkling. I think this is only the beginning of her toppling - and it will be uglier before it gets better. Dilma is another who will not let go of the reins without use of crowd force, it seems - potential for a Latin American spring definitely. I feel sorry for Brasilian friends at this time.

    Let's sadly admit:
    Lula, Dilma and Co. are much - MUCH - smarter than the rest of the Helpless AND Retarded Brazilians!

    Why are the Brazilians so agitated? After all it’s just one more corrupt politician. Is it going to make such a great difference?

    But by being agitated AND keeping themselves glued to the media; just imagine the IBOPE and on account of which, the inflation of the Advertisement-Costs in Brazil! A dream-come-true for the media!

    @19 Brasileiro

    Tut, tut, all that corruption. All those socialists you so admire doing anything to escape justice, because after all, they are above the law unlike the peasants they claim to represent.

    So you're now coming across as angry and desperately trying to distract people away from the fact that your socialist utopia has dissolved around your ears and right before your eyes.

    Your dreams of a United Soviet Socialist Republic of South America ruled from Buenos Aires (like that would ever happen) are falling in tatters around you, as the peasants wake up, smell the coffee and get the 'hanging' ropes out.

    And your precious BRICS don't care. Brazil is tanking. Russia has it's own problems and doesn't give a damn. India is on the up and up and doesn't want any dead weight holding it back. China's economy is beginning to tank, and when push comes to shove they'll only care about saving China (as they should) and the rest of you can go to hell). And South Africa. Also having some problems, but not nearly as much as your precious Brazil.

    So BRICS is a failure. It hasn't done anything to benefit the people of Brazil, only the ruling class who have pocketed and stolen anything they can.

    And now your precious Rousseff has quite literally put herself out on a limb to save a corrupt thieving official, probably because she's afraid he'll throw her to the wolves and get her impeached.

    You are so full of shit that your 'PT” rhetoric only works with dumb assholes like yourself. It's a notorious fact that Lulla is a criminal and as such he will be tried, condemned and imprisoned. Once he is, you'd better watch your ass, as the Feds are already on to you.

    #11 hey moron do know that there was a war over the current USA South Western territory and that the USA beat the Mexicans......remember the Alamo? It seems that you South Americans think losers of wars get consolation, they don't, they get to live, isn;t that enough?

    Not only did we win the war we signed a treaty (Guadalupe Hidalgo) with Mexico AND paid them for the land we won in that war. Just like the Spanish American War, we even fought for and paid for Cuba, technically we can claim it as USA territory.....Can't you latinos win when you fight someone other than your own citizens? You really have a poor track record against the big, bad Anglo Saxons, wouldn't you agree?
