“When a poor man steals, he ends in jail; when a rich man steals he is named minister”, the phrase belongs to Lula da Silva back in 1998 when he was leading the opposition, and it is now being repeated in social networks. In effect, on Wednesday Lula was named chief of staff by president Dilma Rousseff, who also phoned him to tell him she would be sending him the official decree on his nomination, so that he make use of it “if necessary”. The level of hypocrisy in Brazil has reached an all time high.

    The questions:
#1: if Lula/D.R. should have ANY power at all or not and
    #2: should they be prosecuted as common criminals or not;
must be voted - DIRECTLY - by the population itself - in a plebiscite or referendum. This is the only way by which it will be possible:
    - to stop the crooks from going on making fools of the Brazilians
    - taking the Brazilians for a never-ending ride and
    - to hear the “Voice of the People”

Unfortunately in Brazil, The BIGGEST problem with these political jokes; is that they ALWAYS get elected! THAT is the ONLY reason why a country like Brazil - with a great potential - is held at ransom by the common crooks.

First, Lula is not rich. Second, Lula never stole anything.

It is necessary to cut diplomatic relations with the United States and Western Europe.

If the good people of Brazil want to save their country they need to take action now before its too late.

These leftists scumbag crooks need to know they're not immune any longer.

Of course, Lula does not need to be rich and he need not steal anything either! He does not even need a bank-account or a credit-card, like the majority of the normal Brazilians; since:
    - nothing belongs to him or
    - everything is gifted to him or
    - he does not even know who the owner is or
    - he knows NOTHING and anyway
    - there is no concrete & legal proof or evidence of ANY wrongdoing by him or by any other politician.

The armed forces of the Brasil, Russia, China and Angola will make joint exercises along the Brazilian coast in May.

It is expected the participation of 1 million soldiers of the four countries.

It may be anticipated if the right wants to take power by force!

Oh, well if Angola is included then the demise of the west is now only a matter of time.

1 Angolan soldier is worth more than 10 Australian soldiers.

Australians only know how to die. They die like flies.

I bet The Chief Crook Lula is very happy to have the Chief Idiot Brasso 'supporting' him in his intellect free attempt at persuading the rest of us that everything is OK!

I know a few Aussie serving soldiers (well I did 7 years ago when I shot pistol targets against them) and they are trained to the same level as the Brits. Great guys, nothing wrong with them.

I think Brasso might be lucky and see his own soldiers deployed on the streets of Brazil more and more AND THEN, who knows what can happen?

REF: “joint exercises along the Brazilian coast in May”:

They can do something much more constructive, instead of just wasting time AND money of the tax-payers; like for example, deploying the same armed forces - a million soldiers - to fight against Zika [& corruption too - if EVER possible!]

    Hello, Brasileiro AND ChrisR!

You are right. Zica really IS an evolution and exists in Brazil for generations! Hence, my reasoning is as follows:
Fact #1: Microcephaly is associated with NO or INCOMPLETE Brain-Development.
Fact #2: It is transmitted by the Zica Virus
Fact #3: For generations, Brazil is infested with Zica Virus
: Hence if the Brazilians PREFER corrupt governments; the fault lies with the Zica Virus!

REF: “soldiers deployed on the streets”: Are you referring to the Brazilian Armed Forces?
    - They are so brave that they are AFRAID to enter into the favelas to eliminate bandits. They already made several attempts and failed miserably.
    - The bandits are better trained than the Brazilian Armed Forces
    - The bandits are larger in numbers AND have weapons are more sophisticated arms & ammunition than those used by the Brazilian Armed Forces

IF you & the other Brazilians PREFER corrupt governments; the fault lies with Zica. Better seek medical assistance quickly! The only problem is that:
    - the hospitals are either shut-down or
    - have no doctors or
    - do not have medicines or
    - the expiry-dates of the medicines is over!

Conflicting reports on this, but here is one:

    http://www.bbc.com/news/world-latin-america-35835795

“ A Brazilian judge has blocked the appointment of ex-President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva as chief of staff to his successor, Dilma Rousseff. A federal judge issued an injunction saying there was a risk a federal judicial investigation could be derailed if Lula was a minister.”

    MOST Sadly and Disgracefully:
    - DR will continue as a Puppet-President and will not be impeached.
    - the opposition is already being discredited
    - Lula/PT has already returned to rule for a few more decades.

So just FORGET about the agitation, the cheering & getting over-excited about keeping all the culprits in jail.
    - ALL the crooks will be free AND active in no time.
    - They are most likely to change the laws, regulations, ministers and even the constitution - in THEIR favor - to ensure their reasonable long-lasting success.

The reports are coming thick and fast out of Brazil on the suspension of the appointment of Lula and speculation that Dilma's attempt to appoint Lula to a cabinet post was intended to interfere with judicial proceedings and thus a crime in itself. An incriminating phone call between Dilma and Lula. Hard to tell at this point how this is going to shake out -- whether the suspension of the appointment will prevail.

Perhaps you should have read the sentence instead of cherry picking:
“I think Brasso might be lucky and see his own soldiers deployed on the streets of Brazil more and more AND THEN, who knows what can happen?”

I think that is crystal clear.

““When a rich man steals they name him minister”, Lula da Silva quote in 1998”

Never been truer....especially in this case. And it's a bloody joke to listen to the fat cow, who in effect has resigned in favour of the LullaRat , trying to justify her actions (obviously under the LullaRat's instructions) ; She can't even put two short sentences together without stumbling over her confusion, or getting lost in her thoughts.....she loves to ask herself questions which two seconds later even she can't answer....

And, as a public service to those that have brains, unlike the Brasshole, don't pay any attention to the idiot, he really has no idea what he is talking about.

The Brazilian Economic Crisis began when the Minimum Wages increased instead of lowering of the Cost of Living.

Increasing the Minimum Wages was more easy [immediate but superficial & illusive] than the Lowering of the Cost of Living [long-term, more realistic and effective].

    Despite the above mentioned facts;
#1º: The wages - mainly of the poor - were increased.
#2º: Credit-Facilities were increased, made easier and were extended [making Bankers happier!]
#3º: Excessive number of jobs were created artificially, needlessly & indiscriminately; mainly in the Public-Setcor.

    The Immediate Results were:
A:- Creation of an “illusion of boom” and
B:- Publicising low % of Unemployment.

Both the tactics worked - SUCCESSFULLY - as an EXCELLENT Political Strategy to gain:
    - Popularity,
    - the Local Sympathy [VOTES] of the MASSES [mainly poor, mostly illiterate, brainwashed, etc.] as well as
    - Int'l. Propaganda, Fame & Image.

The Policy however failed miserably as an Economic & Commercial Strategy because gradually; EVERYTHING became more expensive due to the higher labour-costs, higher interest-rates and higher taxation.

Even those who were initially pleased to receive higher salaries; eventually had to spend more due to the still Higher Cost of Living. They eventually realized that they continued to remain poor, ending-up with increased debts - instead of increased bank-balance!

Unfortunately - ignoring the scandals & corruption - they still remain brainwashed till today!

the Brasshole only goes to the streets to defend the LulaRat and his whore if they give him free transport to the event, R$ 30,00 and a baloney sandwich....seems to be the only thing that works to get these lazy, good-for-nothing PT bastards off their asses ...
