Brazil has many problem. All fixable. But the worst one is the constitution.

Perhaps this crisis will prompt and empower a new or revised constitution that does away with so many problems.

Well Hepatia, you are at least consistent in your ignorance.

    Perhaps do some research.

Hepatia has it right, it is just fine for the Brazilians as they can't see a finger in front of their noses. Hepi is so indoctrinated that he and most Brazilians stick their heads in the sand and hope things will get better , that or start banging pots and pans PMSL at some of the antics.

    Good bye economy! Welcome corruption!
VERY soon many Brazilians are most likely to prefer migrating to Venezuela as the REFUGEES.

@1 At the university, some of my professors had a rule on term papers: 10 pages maximum. After page 10, whether you made your point sufficiently or not, the professor stopped reading.

The Brazilian Constitution of 1988 can be found here in English:

The U.S. Constitution can be found here:

Why it takes over 400 pages to cover public responsibilities, basic rights and protections against abuse, I cannot fathom. Maybe long. elaborate legal texts could explain why Brazilian politicians neither have a great understanding of the law, nor feel inclined to carry it out.

The political and economic crisis, fueled by the Govt's incompetence and the huge corruption scandals, have absolutely nothing to do with the Constitution........ No Constitution will prevent the wheeling and dealing that goes on in Congress and the State-run companies, by politicians and their appointees, for personal gain....it's all a matter of attitude, which here in Brazil is a lost case.

NOBODY is worried or wants to “waste” their time to get the country out of any crisis.

They are only concerned about their ridiculously high salaries & the Other “Fringe-Benefits”!
    - The fight is after all for:
1: grabbing as much power as possible
2: staying in power as long as possible
3: stealing as much as possible AND
4: getaway with it all, without being discovered!
Watch the “investigations” disappear into thin air!
    :o))
