Isn't this the person that hyped up what the UN said about Argentina's EEZ?
May 11th, 2016 - 12:04 pm - Link - Report abuse 0And then there was the reality and the press release from Ban Ki-Moon's office having to explain the reality. Hm.
What the UN actually said,
''With regard to the recommendations in respect of the submission made by Argentina, it is recalled that, previously, the Commission had already decided that it was not in a position to consider and qualify those parts of the submission that were subject to dispute and those parts that were related to the continental shelf appurtenant to Antarctica ''(see CLCS/64, paras. 76 and 77 and CLCS/76 para. 57) And Paragraph 3 of UN Press Release from Ban Ki-Moon's office dated 28th March 2016: http://www.un.org/press/en/2016/sea2030.doc.htm

May 11th, 2016 - 02:37 pm - Link - Report abuse 0The United Nations does not exactly enjoy the best reputation as a properly ordered and manager organisation - currently it is certainly not fit for purpose. If an Argentine citizen were to be elected Secretary General then it it would truly be on the road to total oblivion.

May 11th, 2016 - 07:30 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Who don't you propose Simón Bolívar for the post? You seem to be a bit mistaken about his destiny!
Considering Malcorra brushes aside UN law when it suits her, even though she should know better from working there before. Her bias makes her an unacceptable nomination.
