Argentina's foreign minister Susana Malcorra most probably will be sponsored by president Mauricio Macri as a candidate to replace the United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon who is stepping down next November, according to government sources quoted by La Nacion. Read full article

Isn't this the person that hyped up what the UN said about Argentina's EEZ?

And then there was the reality and the press release from Ban Ki-Moon's office having to explain the reality. Hm.

What the UN actually said,

The United Nations does not exactly enjoy the best reputation as a properly ordered and manager organisation - currently it is certainly not fit for purpose. If an Argentine citizen were to be elected Secretary General then it it would truly be on the road to total oblivion.

The future illegitimate government of Brazil should support the candidature of Ms. Malcorra. There is no one better than her to take over the UN Secretary General.

When Brazil supports something in the UN can count on at least 150 votes in the General Assembly.
