US President Barack Obama has described Sunday morning's gun attack on a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida, as “an act of terror and an act of hate”. Americans were united in “grief, outrage and resolve to defend our people”, he said.Omar Mateen, 29, killed 50 people and wounded 53 at the Pulse club before being shot dead by police. Jun 13th, 2016 - 10:03 am - Link - Report abuse 0Still the Muslim and chief refuses to call it radicalized Islam and will work his PC magic to not upset his Muslim brothers.
Why not criticise the terrorist group called the NRA?
Jun 13th, 2016 - 10:40 am - Link - Report abuse 0How many of the 90 killed by guns in the U.S. every day are shot by muslims? In this case it would be lazy to blame it on Islam. IS is a terrorist group skewing a religion to suit their purpose. It is like calling all Christians KKK members.
More fuel for the Trump campaign...

While you can't tell their sexual orientation from their names you can perhaps tell where their families originally came from.
Gunna make snide remarks about that?
Didn't think so.
Nice to see that you outed yourself as something that I don't identify as.

Jun 13th, 2016 - 07:46 pm - Link - Report abuse 0the terrorist group called the NRA
You are one sick person if you really believe that given your self-claimed knowledge of America.
I realized you were pathetic but I never dreamed you were as despicable as this.
@8 Yes, I spend a lot of time in America. You take such an interest in my life it is stalkerish.
Jun 13th, 2016 - 08:06 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Despicable? For calling out the NRA? They are financed by arms manufacturers to promote gun sales and prevent further gun controls. They terrorise anyone speaking out against them, blackmail senators voting the 'wrong' way and misuse unelected power. Yeah, they are a bunch of terrorists.
That you want everyone armed doesn't surprise me. Are you too scared without a gun? Do you need one to feel like a man? Lucky for us you had your guns taken away from you as you are not mentally competent.
You are a walking advert for the need for gun control laws.
Trump has a much bigger tent that Cruz ever will have.
Jun 13th, 2016 - 11:05 pm - Link - Report abuse 0So today there's new constituency that recognizes the value of battling radical islam and the importance of protecting one's self and loved ones.
US firearms stocks are trading up 6%.
Gun sales surged today.
The FBI proves once again why it is the laughingstock of the international law enforcement community.

Jun 14th, 2016 - 06:25 am - Link - Report abuse 0Why not criticise the terrorist group called the NRA? - Maybe because the NRA. is NOT a terrorist group ?
How many of the 90 killed by guns in the U.S. every day are shot by muslims? - Yesterday just over half of them. The other half mostly gangland drug / turf wars.
Saying that LGBT intolerence is limited to IS is simply not true - many Islamic countries take a very very dim view. It is therefore folly to downplay the significance of Islam in yesterdays events. Unless there is openess & honesty the problems will never be solved.
So, Robert Abell refused to sell ammo and armor to Mateen five weeks before his terrorist attack.
Jun 17th, 2016 - 07:29 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Abell notified the FBI but since he couldn't provide a name they dropped it.
The FBI new that he made a cell call from the store.
So, is this rocket science?
No.
If they would have followed up they would have had the time from the security video.
A review of the nearest cell towers would have generated a list of cell calls and numbers.
A FISA warrant would have connected the numbers with names and addresses.
The FBI can't connect the dots.

Jun 18th, 2016 - 02:15 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Don't waste your time with facts, this hysterical female (she is not like any mentally stable women I have ever met) is capable of 'making her mind up' despite the facts.
And providing 'links' for her to discover the truth for herself is a waste of time because she claims she NEVER clicks on links. I have often wondered is she believes her lies herself.
As for rational thought that is WAY beyond her as she has demonstrated in her despicable distortion of the NRA and me.
Whatever you do NEVER mention the 'F' word, that's FEMINISM, she goes berserk.
I fully expect her to go missing for another few weeks soon, when LEAVE wins the referendum but it won't be flying around the world 'first class' it will be a mental hospital.
It seems to me a job like she has can only be funded by the EU, either directly or as an employee of a sub-contactor and her job is likely to be redundant, hence the 'problems'.
Per Karla Ray, Disney warned the FBI about Mateen casing downtown Orlando in April.
Jun 18th, 2016 - 02:59 pm - Link - Report abuse 0FBI is feeble and can't connect the dots to find terrorists.
The FBI is an investigative unit structured to bring prosecution after a crime is committed - not prevent terrorism.
15 years on it's time to revisit the domestic alphabet soup of agencies and do some consolidation and elimination to reflect missions - current and future.
The black budget needs to be halved.
TSA needs an outside, blue ribbon panel functional audit top to bottom.
CIA needs investment in human assets.
Cyber command needs the status formally accorded SAC.
Social media anti extremism functions need to be wrested from State and tasked to the CIA.
This is not about the LGBT People! It is about the Armed Lunatics & Lone Wolves who are allowed [encouraged?] an easy access into crowded places - without security check-ups.
Jun 19th, 2016 - 11:17 am - Link - Report abuse 0Is it due to negligence? A lack of common sense? A disregard to human lives? Inefficient law-makers?
No.
Jun 19th, 2016 - 12:09 pm - Link - Report abuse 0It's about Islamic terrorists and this administration's choice not to counter their efforts.
No matter what the label is - terrorism, jihad, loonies etc, etc - IN CROWDED PLACES, if an entrance without ANY Security-Check is freely permitted to unauthorised armed persons; the senseless violence will continue.
Jun 19th, 2016 - 01:19 pm - Link - Report abuse 0You're always going to have armed lunatics.
Jun 19th, 2016 - 09:18 pm - Link - Report abuse 0The answer?
Only frequent places with armed reasonable people.
Who are the loonies?
Jun 19th, 2016 - 11:58 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Those who enter crowded places with arms? or
Those who PERMIT these lunatics to enter into crowded places with arms?
