Bilateral ties between Argentina and Britain are entering a new chapter, indeed.....

During the next three years, the Argie “good cop” team is in charge...
In about three years from now, the Argie “baad cop” returns...

During the next three years, the Engrish can taste the Argie gold...
In about three years from now, we'll see if the Engrish can prescind of it...

You really are a pessimist Think! Surely Arg voters are unlikely to quite that daft?
maybe someone a bit left of Macri next time if they are not happy with him in 3 yrs time, but not another lunatic fringe like the K dynasty?

@ 2, Think's vision may not be off course at this particular moment in time. How he expresses it, rankles perhaps. Macri has much to deliver; I hope he can, but we all know the multiple colours of Arg “democracy” and how change can be triggered quickly! The K dynasty, was but just one, in the passing of time.

Excuse me saying so, my dear falklandlad, but if you are referring to the Kelpers when you say ...: “We all know the multiple colours of Arg. ”democracy” and how change can be triggered quickly”, then you are quite wrong....

With very few exceptions,... you Kelpers knowledge about Argentina can be easily compared with the understanding the most rabiate Scottish or Irish Nationalists have about them bloody Engrish...

Mr T, I beg to disagree (even though you say you just might be beginning to like me!) but some of us have experience of 50+ years experience of the Arg persuasion (sword, sweetners and dialogue), and the muliplicity of shades of democratic and military force and deviation along that short 1/2 century highway.

Well.... ain't that... (disregarding the dimamic time warp discrepancy)... precisely the argument one would get from a rabiate Scottish or Irish Nationalist...?...:

” Some of us have experience of 1,000+ years experience of the Sassenach persuasion (sword, sweetners and dialogue), and the muliplicity of shades of democratic and military force and deviation along that short millenium...”

    Huhhhh?

Great guy. And now we know that UK agreed to discuss on ALL issues, sovereignty INCLUDED! That is the only sensible way to move forward, no exclusions. That is made clear by Argentina when explaining the joint statement of 13 September 2016. Nothing is agreed till everything is agreed???

    Sorry Alejo,

You need to get up to speed.
