The Mercosur controversy has moved to New York far away from the spotlights of regional media, since the presidents of the four founding members are scheduled to address the UN General Assembly this week, and are expected to hold a series of meetings on the sidelines of the major global event. I used to think the previous foreign minister of Uruguay, the 'Rent Boy to Dovena' (the argy ambassador to UYU), now SG of the OAS Luis Almagro was a complete wanker but I have to say Ninny Novoa has attained heights only dreamed of by Almagro.

This is what happens when you have a lovely country like Uruguay ruled by a bunch of illiterate innumerate murdering commie bastards who know nothing of business nevermind how to run a country.

ChrisR - I do enjoy reading your unintelligent rants as they are a good way to start the day (they put a smile to my face). However (from time to time) even you shock me into putting 'pen to paper' in response to what is definitely the most illiterate comment made this year :)

To name the current ruling party 'a bunch of illiterate innumerate murdering commie bastards' shows a complete lack of historical knowledge - not only of their true foundations - but also of the geo-political issues happening in Latin America now and over the last 40 years.

However, I do say that with a certain amount of 'tongue in cheek' as you have always sounded like a Norte Americano plying your ideological state of mind.

If you cannot see that the latest machinations are just a rerun of the last 40 years - i.e. a move back to the era of Reagan and Thatcher without the assassinations - then you need to hit the books my friend.

I cannot wait to read your next installment :)

Stuff you and you supercilious comments about which you may think you know the situation in UYU but you clearly do not. My teacher friends say that there are THREE delegates that have NOT finished grade school and I know who I believe.

Look up the meaning of SEDITION, TERRORISM and MURDER.

The Tupas were guilty of all of that: FACT.

UYU was governed by the electorate in free elections only the failed lawyer Sendic (he spent 5 years at University but never took an exam and was not legally qualified) decided, together with the likes of the illiterate innumerate murdering Mujica and his wealthy wife La Tronca to 'set the people free'.

When the local Tupas said that to my best friend she replied 'but we don't want that', all to no avail.

Anyway, I think it is you who doesn't know the history of UYU and you can read about it for yourself but your attitude to the 'glorious past' of murders, etc, will blind you to the truth.

As for the murderous bastard Sendic, his son, a liar like TMBOA is now our VP and has been caught out claiming he has a degree in science from Cuba though the Cubans deny that any degree can be taken in the twelve months he claims he took AND that the particular degree is not even offered by them. He did of course (unlike his dad) HAVE A CERTICATE!

Vasquez has claimed that this is not grounds for him being chucked out of the VP role. Given Vasquez is suffering with his health (due to the mess Mujica has left) it all might end up with Sendic as the President.

So where are you from? Venezuela I suppose they are big mates of the illiterate innumerate murdering commie bastard Tupas.

The reason I get wound up is because this country is being ruined by these arseholes who had to get all the little commie, Marxists and other numbnut groups into a ragbag party called The Broad Front (or the Broad Fraud as it is known on El Pais) to 'win' power but you see I CARE about the people here, they do not.

Wow ChrisR, I really love your enthusiasm however for any discussion to be of any benefit there needs to be a smitten of truth to it.

It is obvious that you will not (or can not) see what is going on here so I will leave you to your insults as I'd be wasting my 'breath' replying back.

Good luck for the future, we will all need it when England, the US and the IMF are done with us.
