Hilary Clinton has opened up a 14-percentage-point lead against Donald Trump nationally, according to an NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll released Monday. Is that an Americanism...
Two way race and four way race...?
How many ways are there in a race..?
    To the finish...?
    To the beginning...?
Do they mean two horse race...?
I've heard of a two way lighting switch...
    and a two way mirror...

“The poll surveyed 500 registered voters between Oct. 8 and 9 with a margin of error of 4.4 percentage points and 4.6 percentage points for all likely voters.”

    500!

Ha, ha, ha, all card carrying Hil voters then?

The ONLY poll that counts is the actual vote.

Come back then, if Hil is still above ground.

I'm guessing the above was ChrisR.

    It's good news, anyway.

There is anybody out there that still believe anything parroted by US “mainstream media”?
Is clear to me that given the all out campaign to neutralize Trump, from every shade of the US political spectrum, that he is threatening to upset the status quo politically and economically.
I hope the Wicked witch disintegrates before November.

I love the new format. It is so easy to identify the posters.

It looks like Trump's anger is out of control. Today he is attacking his own party.

To be honest I thought Clinton went too easy on Trump considering how badly he'd messed up.

For starters his excuse about it being 'locker room talk' doesn't negate the fact that he:

    a. Objectified women
    b. Bragged about sexually assaulting women
    c. Bragged that he could get away with sexually assaulting women because of his celebrity status

For God's sake he even talked trash about his own daughter! What kind of father would do that?

Trump stated that those 'tapes' weren't the 'real' him...when in fact out of the public eye it showed everyone EXACTLY who he is. Because everyone acts naturally when they believe themselves to be alone or not on view, whereas in the public arena everyone is on their best behaviour.

Yet Clinton just let him walk away from that!

Fortunately for Clinton, Trump still managed to mess up big time, and showed himself to be a petty, small minded individual who is willing to throw law, due process and democracy aside to 'get even' with his nemesis (Clinton).

It will get worse...with more tapes about his crude nature, and even women coming forwards to claim that he assaulted them...and what does Trump do? Just threatens Hillary Clinton and states he is going after Bill Clinton! All of Bill's misdeeds are already in the public eye...so apart from his rabid supporters NO ONE is going to care.

At this rate Hillary will win with such a big majority that the Republican party may resemble the Liberal Democrats in the UK...that is not much in the way of anyone in office.

    Regards

I think Clinton decided not to get into a slanging match, quoting FLOTUS, 'when they go low, we go high'. I suspect she thought she would let him continue to destroy himself. To an extent he did some further damage, his coke-head sniffing, pacing like an angry animal, acting like an angry five-year-old and unable to answer any questions in a competent manner. He really is dumb about foreign policy. He has no depth or substance and that came through clear and strong.

Where people were disappointed was that Clinton didn't go down to his level of hurling abuse. Personally, I would have been disappointed if she had. She is more presidential than that.

Also take into account that Trump paid those women to go on camera before the debate to make unsubstantiated claims against Bill Clinton. He then wanted to put those women he was using in the private box with his family to confront Bill Clinton on camera at the beginning of the broadcast. That was stopped by the officials as being too disgusting even for Trump's camp and threatened to have them removed from the building. Eventually, they were allowed to sit in the non-participating audience where they were not on camera.

In the face of that I didn't see Hillary rise to the bait as Trump had hoped. It proved that in the face of the worst tactics she could remain focused and Presidential.

Meantime, Trump threatened to jail his political opponent, gloated about tax avoidance, insulted ethnic minorities and displayed his complete ignorance about politics. He is good at stirring up the stupid (he loves the poorly educated) and getting media attention. He also proved it is all about him getting power.

As I have said before, this election will be won by the middle-ground voters. What Trump did won't appeal to them.

    This is Chubut calling...

This humble Patagonian dweller is happy that he won't be waking up on Novembe 9 to read about Mr. Trump having been elected as the 44th Yank president...

Well, they once elected Cristina in Argentina. They are furiously digging the dirt on Hillary, so anything can happen, watch this space.

That is true, they are furiously going for Hillary hoping to upset her voting base. It is a risky strategy because Trump already revels in his bully persona and if he kicks her too much people will vote for her as a perceived underdog. She isn't but people rebel against bullying after a while. (except the bullies who wish they were doing the kicking).

At the moment Hillary is way ahead in the polls but she probably has the lazy voters - less rabid. If Trump goes in too hard he may just stir them into voting.

Meantime, he has to stop with the threatening to run the country like a demigod. Using the office of President purely for his own revenge and benefit might even turn away the Republican Team voters.

Argentina was an entirely different set of circumstances.

If that is true I bet they are regretting it now.

I think it's safe to say that Donald J Trump's crusade to make Germany great again has almost run the course.
