A majority of South American presidents would prefer to see former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton at the White House, while a few believe whoever wins will make not much of a difference for the continent. Nevertheless be it Hillary or Trump there is mostly respect for US institutions. Read full article

    This only proves (as if anyone needed proof) that these people are socialist idiots, wanting another socialist idiot to be US president. It's no wonder all their countries are going to hell, moving steadily toward increased poverty and tyranny.

    Wut? Temer, Macri and Kuczynski are not socialists, and neither is Cartes.

    It's hardly illogical or surprising that they would prefer a socialist idiot (not that Clinton is remotely socialist) to a xenophobia promoting, protectionist idiot in the White House. Even if Trump would be good for the US (hard to imagine I know), he's not exactly going to be good for Latin America, is he?

    While Temer and Macri measured their words and were diplomatic about it, showing that they engage their brains before putting their mouths in gear, Morales and Maduro, as well as the already discarded Mujica - expressed themselves exactly as could be expected of a bunch of idiots, and the others didn't go about it too smartly (if at this point - before they know who'll be elected - they have any hopes of building a normal relationship with whoever wins).

    There is only one person that these bunch of no-hopers want to see in the Whitehouse: THEMSELVES.

    Voice & Jack Bauer, that is a good point. Although I think they are right in their opinion, that doesn't mean it was a good idea to express it. Though Maduro for one has said much worse things in the past so I doubt he cares.

    I love the Uruguayan politicians though, they're so undiplomatically honest! It's both refreshing and hilarious to eg hear Mujica admit he accepted inmates from Guantanamo in exchange for selling oranges to the USA.

    @DT
    what Maduro says is not worthwhile writing..it's so much rubbish that no-one even bothers to listen to the idiot anymore, other than his staunchest supporters that will go down with him.

    You don't really believe that do you?

    Come and live here for 66 months which I have and you will find the Broad Fraud (not my naming, but Uruguayo naming) do live up to their name.

    I have been through all the main problem points many times but it seems you have never read my posts or don't believe me. I am not wasting my time doing it again.

    Much BEFORE thinking about “who they would like to see at the WH”; they are busier in occupying their own thrones - as long as possible and by each & every means possible!
