UK Fisheries Minister George Eustice announced more actions to boost sustainable fishing, with the entry into force of the next phase of the discard ban for demersal species. This landing obligation requires fishermen to unload everything they catch, and will help to put an end to the wasteful practice of throwing dead fish back overboard. Read full article

    You are indeed brainwashed. But then it would be unreasonable to expect you to do some research and learn that discarding fish that didn't meet CFP criteria was an EU policy. Refer to the European Fishery Minimum Landing Size. It took years for certain northern countries to get the EU to reverse its discard policy. But WE are getting ready to take OUR fishing grounds back!
