Spain's Secretary General of Fisheries from the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Food and Environment Alberto Lopez Asenjo has met with representatives of the European Commission (EC) to address the consequences of Brexit for the Spanish fishing fleet and its markets. Read full article

    The Spanish fishing fleet already overfishes British waters - they will have to get licences or just not fish in our waters.

    I agree with you Voice. It makes it all the more stupid that Sturgeon wants to remain in the EU, when by leaving it, the Scottish fishing industry could be revitalised, bringing in much needed income rather than the EU grants Scotland would not get because the UK, one of the EU's sugar daddies is leaving. Unless Spain ups its contributions to the EU (hur hur) to replace the UK's..........................

    ALL the politicians are afraid to admit and are afraid, to tell the truth to the citizens, that they wrongly decided to remain separated from the rest of the EU. Hence the dillydallying - for one reason or the other!
