Tension mounted as vote counting in Ecuador's presidential election dragged into a third day on Tuesday, with supporters and opponents of outgoing President Rafael Correa trading heated accusations. With the last ballots trickling in from Sunday's election, ruling party candidate Lenin Moreno had a little over 39% of the votes and an almost 11-point lead over conservative Guillermo Lasso, a former banker who finished second.     Go easy....I mean, the government needs a bit of time to rig the ballots and produce a result of 40,1% for Moreno. These elections are probably just as honest as those in Venezuela...

    Runoff is going ahead. Guess you were wrong about the government rigging the ballots, apparently the conservative candidate has a good chance of winning now.

    Well, I'm glad I was wrong....even though previous elections in Ecuador, just like in Venezuela, were not exactly honest.....it's good to see the people are waking up.
