Economists point out serious math errors in Trump's budget proposal
The White House has denied the president's budget proposal contains an “egregious” math error. Former US Treasury Secretary Larry Summers pointed out the spending plan double-counts US$2trillion. The political class in Washington despise Trump -- they see him as a threat to the corrupt system that keeps them in power, because he's not one of them. They will condemn anything he proposes, or has a hand in, even if they agree with it -- and the press is with them. They intend to discredit him and drive him out of government if they can, or at least prevent him doing anything that would be good for the country and help him get reelected.
