Former FBI Director James Comey asserted on Thursday that President Donald Trump fired him to interfere with his investigation of Russia's ties to the Trump campaign, bluntly accusing the White House of spreading “lies, plain and simple.” Comey also revealed that he'd orchestrated the public release of information about his private conversations with the president in an effort to further the investigation.     I'm not going to spend any time correcting this but the headline is quite misleading and since I was present at the hearing, the body also has some inaccuracies.....

    I took the time to watch the whole session. We made a party of it.

    Comey certainly did a number on Trump. Many Republicans I've spoken to say that impeachment is not on the table but I think that Comey's testimony could be the first stage post to that end.

    The thing that most surprised me was that Comey considered the memos his property.
