The Argentine Army issued a press release through its Department of Institutional Communication to address the computer attack suffered in the previous hours and inform that the case had been reported to the judiciary's Specialized Cybercrime Unit (UFECI) and that none of the critical computer systems had been affected. Disclaimer & comment rulesHow could this possibly happen ? TTT has been telling us that it is only Anglos whom ISIS hates. Could the infallible Troll be wrong ? Impossible. He is the fount of all truth and wisdom as he keeps reminding we lesser mortals in his tedious posts.
Jun 20th, 2017 - 08:52 pm - Link - Report abuse +8News item: CFK blames ISIS and deplorables of Santa Torta province for loss of 2015 election.
Jun 20th, 2017 - 08:53 pm - Link - Report abuse +4Why the f..k would ISIS waste it's time and resources 'hacking' the Argentine armies' web site?
Jun 20th, 2017 - 10:13 pm - Link - Report abuse +3My guess a bunch of idiots with nothing better to do...or..no
perhaps it was MI5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Everybody knows...
Jun 20th, 2017 - 10:24 pm - Link - Report abuse +3MI5 has a 'secret' base on the Falklands whose sole purpose is undermine the Argie military by 'hacking' their website of parades and banner-waving.
Devious as they are, they are striking a blow against ISIS, by implicating them.
I am pleasantly surprised to read some Brits can at least admit to one of their countless acts of deviousmess against other nations.
Jun 20th, 2017 - 11:11 pm - Link - Report abuse 0This could well be the initial skirmish to lay down a chain of events that eventuate the setting up of a British enclave south of Mar del Plata similar to Gibraltar.
Which Brits are those Tobi....the Irishman or the Canadian...?
Jun 20th, 2017 - 11:16 pm - Link - Report abuse 0ROFL. You've got to remember he thinks all Anglos are the same.
Jun 20th, 2017 - 11:46 pm - Link - Report abuse +5Tr0lListic_Approach, are you ready to sign up to share intelligence about terrorists yet? And why would we want Mar del Plata? Everyone knows it's TdF we are after, for strategic beaver purposes.
Since the Chinese have colonised part of Neuquen province with their secret military communications base, it seems only just and fitting that others should get in on the action. I suspect that some leaker will reveal the secret McDonalds sauce space, the Japanese Toyota colony, the Volkswagen enclave, the Sicilian Crime Families and Gaseosas settlement, and the secret Benetton estancia operations in Chewed Butt province.
Jun 21st, 2017 - 01:33 am - Link - Report abuse +1And let's not forget the Mexican Steel Reel Club in Buenos Aires province:

(Don't they know Kretina isn't getting her cut in the cocaine business anymore?)
I said Brits, a nationality (of people from England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, and the Falklands), not Anglos, which are a race ( from British Isles, North America, Caribbean, parts of Africa, northeastern South America, Oceania, Indian subcontinent, pacific islands)
Jun 21st, 2017 - 02:16 am - Link - Report abuse -3Indian subcontinent are racial anglos?
Jun 21st, 2017 - 04:14 am - Link - Report abuse +3I'm beginning to understand the problem now.
Funny, Chopper (AKA Toby the Ucumar) has always supported ISIS. It's one of the several reasons I call him Chopper!
Jun 21st, 2017 - 05:42 am - Link - Report abuse 0http://i1290.photobucket.com/albums/b521/imoyaro/chopperlaff_zpsryuikyku.gif
Yes Trollboy, the problem is neither Darragh nor Kanye is from England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, or the Falklands (or Gibraltar, or Burmuda, etc). I may as well call you Spanish or Uruguayan. If you can't tell one Anglo from another you can at least not assume they are all British.
Jun 21st, 2017 - 09:08 am - Link - Report abuse +1Also I think it would be news to the Indians that they are Anglos. If learning English as a second language (or third or fourth) makes you an Anglo then what are you?
ISIS have recognized that in Argentina there is no military to oppose them establishing a permanent presence there.
Jun 21st, 2017 - 09:51 am - Link - Report abuse +2Tobias the traumatised troll...you must be thrilled!
Jun 21st, 2017 - 11:28 am - Link - Report abuse 0You used to say that Argentina wasn't important enough to attract terrorists (conveniently forgetting those Argentines who died by terrorism in the AIMA bombing), but now you must be important enough for ISIS, so you can now die happy.

Jun 21st, 2017 - 12:30 pm - Link - Report abuse 0I have an admission to make...apparently my Great Great Great Grandfather was Scottish. Therefore according to Tobias (and the Nazis Nuremberg laws) I and my bloodline are tainted forever - I may have to start wearing tartan...woe is me!!!!
Anglos and Hispanic a a race based on genetic language, how is that so hard?
Jun 21st, 2017 - 03:08 pm - Link - Report abuse -1Genetic language ancestry is accepted officially by the United States government, and it is accepted as optional by the Argentine government.
And don't you all call Indians Asians? That must be news to them too.
Genetic language means that you learned English during the so called Critical Period, where the language you learn affects your worldview and mentality forever. You can learn 20 languages after puberty, but they don't alter your mind like the critical period language does.
@Darragh
Jun 21st, 2017 - 04:29 pm - Link - Report abuse +1LOL, how terrible. I'm sure if you were American you'd already be looking for your roots and boasting about your clan tartan. ;)
@Trollboy
What on earth is genetic language ancestry? And I don't believe that the language you learn as a child has much if any effect on your 'worldview and mentality'. Rather our brains shape how we understand the world and thus what languages can exist. All languages vary but have similarities deep down.
Can you even think of an example of how language would affect mentality?
Yeah, we call Indians Asians, but that's a much broader term. Asian is used as an ethnic group in the census, so British Asians can be Anglos by your definition, but most actual Indians learn English at school - if they learn it at all - as I assume you did. Did you learn English before or after puberty, by the way?
None of this makes Darragh or Kanye British, anyway!
Toby...
Jun 21st, 2017 - 04:51 pm - Link - Report abuse +1Accept gracefully that you made a mistake...
I can't see how you will ever climb out of the hole you are digging...
They ain't Brits...no ifs no buts no nuffin... ;-)
So according to trollistic, if 100 years ago an arab-argentine learned English then his non-English-speaking descendents in Guanaco Muerto are anglos.
Jun 21st, 2017 - 04:56 pm - Link - Report abuse 0We are now beginning to understand the sort of reasoning that prevails in this toy country.
Darragh
Jun 21st, 2017 - 06:06 pm - Link - Report abuse +1If you go far enough back in the history of the British Isles - (geographically not politically) then we are probably all a mixture of both. In the middle ages, the western Isles and Argyll provided skilled warriors to Irish nobles, notably in Donegal.
In a jocular mood, Glasgow is known as the Capital of Donegal !
Didn't people from Ireland invade Scotland at some point and spread the Gaelic language in the Highlands?
Jun 21st, 2017 - 08:22 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Using the Trollistic Method:
Jun 21st, 2017 - 09:21 pm - Link - Report abuse +1The anglo Welsh pretty much settled and developed Chubut province so.....
....Argentina will return Chubut within 25 years !
Clyde15
Jun 21st, 2017 - 10:14 pm - Link - Report abuse +1Absolutely!!
That is exactly the point I was trying to make albeit a little flippantly.
The peoples of the British Isles (geographically not politically) are so intermingled that no matter how good Trolleydolley's pretend DNA analysis is it wouldn't be able to sort it out.
I didn't know that about Glasgow but I have heard of Liverpool being called the capital of Ireland and whilst on holiday in Wales a few years ago I was told that Pembrokeshire is known as ' a little bit of England beyond Wales'.
kind regards.
Let's cut through the always thick Anglo fog.
Jun 21st, 2017 - 11:55 pm - Link - Report abuse -4Anglos will be Anglos. This saying I invented will be said one thousand years from now, when at the 467th annual Confederation of Milky Way Star Systems, the UK announces it will hold a referendum on Milkit, because they can do so much better on their own.
It's dubious that trolly invented anything that cannot be cured with sufficiently powerful antibiotics. Though he may be surprised to learn that what he claims to having invented is of no more semantic value than such phrases as infinity will be infinity or complex distributed systems will be complex distributed systems or perhaps even bilateral diffuse uveal melanocytic proliferation will be bilateral diffuse uveal melanocytic proliferation - none of which are likely to make the top forty but which will surely cause an argentine to ponder for days.
Jun 22nd, 2017 - 12:34 am - Link - Report abuse +1Trolley's rants do however remind us of the sorry state of education in Argentina, and the resulting inability of its nationals to perform even simple cognitive tasks.

Um... that's rather a strange comment coming from Demon Tree... er, Voice.
Doesn't make them NOT British, either.
@Trollboy
Jun 22nd, 2017 - 08:47 am - Link - Report abuse 0It's a lot more dignified to just admit it when you are wrong.
@Kanye
Doesn't make them NOT British, either.
It was a bunch of irrelevant crap. Point is, Darragh is Irish, and you are like Voice and won't admit which country you're from, but you're not claiming to be British either.
And I'm not Voice, I'm Troy Tempest.
TTT
Jun 22nd, 2017 - 08:57 am - Link - Report abuse +1Your self conceit is boundless. You come up with a meaningless phrase and think it is a stroke of genius. Really, you are SO delusional that you almost invoke pity.....but not quite.

Jun 22nd, 2017 - 10:58 am - Link - Report abuse 0Haha...to understand Kanye's post you need to know that Troy Tempest (the Canadian) always liked to think or claim he was British because his grandfather was...
He couldn't help himself...I was patiently waiting for his response...
I knew the moment I made the first post it would grind on him...
I wasn't disappointed.... ;-)))
Thanks to the editors for using Argentine rather than the ugly Americanism Argentinean/Argentinian.

What's so great about being British? Canada is a better country to live in in many ways, and we're close allies, we even still share a queen.
R. Ben Madison, I noticed that as of yesterday, The Guardian had become ugly american:
