British Petroleum has agreed with Argentina's Bridas Corporation to form a new integrated energy company by combining their interests in the oil and gas producer Pan American Energy and the refiner and marketer Axion Energy in a cash-free transaction. Argentina would do well to avoid any dealings with this organization.

Some independently owned BP stations, including former Amoco stations, switched to a different brand due to the public relations fallout as a result of the oil spill.”
Looks like you've been fooled by a simple branding change, as Amoco has been part of BP since 1998. I do recall they switched to an American CEO at the time of the oil spill, too. No doubt that makes them seem more trustworthy to a certain audience.
