Ecuador's ruling Country Alliance party, founded by former president Rafael Correa over a decade ago, has removed President Lenin Moreno as its head, citing “repeated failures” in leadership, as a schism between the former allies deepens. Read full article

That's unexpected. And rather refreshing to see a president who wants to impose term limits instead of remove them, even if it is only to stop Correa running against him in 2021. I hope he's serious about tackling corruption, too.
