Teri, you disagree with the American people who don't give two shits about what you think. You're irrelevant and insignificant.

I'll bet there is actually a significant portion of the American people who are in agreement with PM May.

And there is no way the UK is insignicant to the US.

Trump is just quietly saying that peace process isn't doing anything.

It passed the Senate 93-5 and House 374-37.

The UK doesn't amount to a pimple on a gnat's ass.

It's all to do with the law on transplanted populations. It applies to some places and 'not' others.

You would not happen to be a Jewish American perchance?
Actually it would be rather nice if the USA told us to eff-off.
Just think how our world standing would increase not being tied to a nut-job hell bent on starting WW3.

Didn't we witness Trump having a mini-stroke during his over-excitement at his Hanukkah gift to his daughter and son-in-law? I am guessing it was the reward for Jared not turning on him and blabbing about the dodgy dealings with Russia. The funniest comment from Trump was that he is going to 'prove' that he is not suffering from dementia. Haha! I think an independent assessment would prove he is, along with a number of serious personality disorders.

As it happens I don't agree with the Prime Minister. Jerusalem has been the capital of Israel for thousands of years. A relatively short period of being occupied by a bunch of dirty arab terrorists shouldn't make a difference. Once it's been cleaned up!

It's worth noting that the United Nations, that pontificates about not recognising Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, would seem to be in breach of a principle of international law. And it isn't a law-making body so it can't change the law.

We should recall that, when we were in the business of slapping down illegitimate argie “claims” to the Falkland, South Georgia and South Sandwich Islands, we read numbers of intelligent people pointing out the principle of “uti possidetis”.

Well, as a result of being attacked, Israel has fought several wars. And, generally speaking, won them. However, winning is not essential. The principle merely states that, what a party to an armed conflict possesses at the end of the conflict, it has the right to retain. Whatever “palestinians”, whatever they are, want is irrelevant. Nor is it appropriate to refer to the relevant land as “occupied territory”. That's just the UN refusing to grasp the nettle of telling arabs that they can't have whatever they want.

There are times to have sensible, reasonable discussions with sensible, reasonable people. Pandering to violent, rioting, aggressive fanatics is not an appropriate course of action.

To be honest, I see the “palestinian” “claim” to East Jerusalem as simply another way to provoke Israel. When one looks at the circumstances in which they choose to live, one can take the reasonable view that one stretch of desert is as good as any other. Let them pick up their chattels and move, en masse, east of the River Jordan. I'm sure that their Jordanian arab brothers would be happy to allocate them a suitable tract of land. Western Jordan is very sparsely settled.

Palestinians disavowed any claim on the West Bank and Gaza in 1964.

    (Article 24.) http://www.palwatch.org/main.aspx?fi=640&doc_id=8210

Jordan surrendered its claim on the West Bank in 1988.

Jordanians got their collective ass kicked in 6 days in 1967.

    Welcome to Israel administration.

    Game over.

For some reason the Brits hate Israel. Might trip all the way back to what happened to them at the King David.
