  Who are you kidding, Pompeo?
  
  The US has a long enough history of interventions in Latin America and the world, direct or indirect -- none of which improved anything in the countries supposed to 'benefit' from such interventions.
  
  On the contrary: The US's ideological leanings led it to support every single backward, right-wing government independently of its legality and the treatment it gave the opposition. The US executed or supported the use of means such as kidnappings, torture and assassination, to reach its goals.
  
  If Venezuelans need change, let Venezuelans deal with it.
  
  The world will be way better without the US' 'help.'

  Do Russia, and Cuba, and China need to step back also?
  
  If those forces interfere with Venzuelans implementing changes on their own, that would be acceptable, right?
  
  Are these forces already interfering with popular will in Venezuela?
  
  Free market forces need to go, socialist-authoritarian ones can stay.

  Just like in many countries where the US did begin a fight - virtually, in the name only [Syria, just ONE example] but quit in a hurry - withdrew [not-so-honorably] to avoid getting licked by the Russians, Chinese, Iranians!
  
  The Loudmouth now wants to repeat the performance!

  There's some clean governing there!
  
  These are formidable forces that the U.S. and the free world have to deal with.
  
  My post was directed to criticisms of the U.S. presence in the Venezuela situation that ought to have addressed the presence of other foreign powers there as well.
