Five French refurbished Super Etendard fighter bombers en route to Argentina

Argentina will be receiving in a few weeks time five refurbished Dassault-Breguet Super Etendard (SEM) fighter bombers decommissioned from the French navy. The 13 million Euro purchase also includes a flight simulator, engines and spares and are currently sailing across the Atlantic en route to Bahía Blanca. Read full article

    Glad to see that the Argentine finally got some modern planes now that the purchase of Messerschmidt Me109 and Spitfire Mk II failed.

    They aren't a match for Tornados. It's as well because they've been pensioned off and the Argentines couldn't afford them. t's good to see that Argentina is “militarising” the South Atlantic though! ;-)
