The president in charge of Venezuela, Juan Guaidó, announced from the military air base of La Carlota that since Tuesday, April 30, Operation Libertad began to “cease the usurpation” of Nicolás Maduro's regime. Civilians gathered at the east of Caracas in support of the military insurrection and Military supporters of Maduro government took part of the base of the Military Aviation, armed with long weapons. Trump is very limited in what he can do with both parties in the Congress against him. It's likely he will provide arms and supplies to Guaido's people if things turn violent -- but first they must be in control of some area that aid can be delivered to. At present, there is no place they control.

It's best the USA does not do any more measures because it will only harm the people. A complete economic and trade blockade is about as far as they can expect. It's up to the Venezuela military to allow the transfer of power.
