Following the simple logic of who ticks all of the boxes for means, motive and opportunity in either case tends to point to Peronists doesn't it.
A first, news about this murderous attack sent chills down the spine of many Argentines who still remember a time where violence was the way to solve political differences.

However, it quickly became obvious, not only that the crime had been carried out by none of the above; surveillance cameras covered the attack and showed a couple of individuals leaving huge amounts of evidence as they drove away from the crime scene, visibly intoxicated.
It has to be said that Bullrich wasn't alone in jumping the gun -- Zaphod, our expert on all things Argentina, thought this crime was a golden opportunity to fan the flames of hatred:

Zaphod made his misleading comment more than a day after the attack, when it's clear that politics was not involved. By doing so, he has shown his utter disregard for real facts when an opportunity to score some cheap political points arises.

Indeed...Pato Bullrich was salivating on the prospect of a complex investigation leading to sinister terrorist groups...which would have been a welcome distraction from depressing news about the worsening state of the economy. When the findings ended up her fantasies, all that was left was to praise the security forces for a quick job.
Changing subject, it appears MP isn't going to publish a story about the impressive presentation of Cristina book Sinceramente in Buenos Aires' Book Fair. Thousands of Argentines mobilized in spite of rainy weather to hear Cristina speak. And speak she did, without disappointing. She spoke of hope for the future, of the need for a social contract among Argentines, and much more. Her book is selling exceptionally well, becoming the literary event of the year.
What was most amazing, though, was to see the faces of those who went to see Cristina through giant screens.Those were the faces of emotion and hope. Hope. Something not readily available in Argentina today.
