UK returned 1.400 tons of Brazilian poultry contaminated with salmonella

The Brazilian government confirmed on Wednesday that Britain had sent back to Brazil 16 containers of poultry due to the presence of salmonella in the shipments. According to Agriculture Minister Tereza Cristina Dias, the shipments totaled 1,400 tons of poultry, which were returned over a 15-month period. Read full article

Not exactly a BAD-NEWS! Won't this help to reduce the price of meat - now that Brazil has EXTRA 1'400MT available for the consumption in the local market!
