Prime Minister Theresa May will hold a meeting of Britain's emergencies committee on Monday to discuss Iran's seizure of a UK-flagged oil tanker in the Gulf. In one of her final important acts as prime minister before resigning on Wednesday, May will chair a meeting of Britain's COBR emergencies committee at around 10.30am (0930 GMT), her Downing Street office said.     Totally puzzles me why UK is wasting any time or effort over this ship. Yes GB lagged but UK should have just told owners and operators- “YOU were stupid idiots- you knew what Iran would do to an unguarded UK Flagged vessel- they had been saying it daily for 2 weeks and already tried it once, you were stupid enough to not wait a day or whatever until you could have been accompanied close by a RN Warship- so your problem and serves you right”.
