Argentines are facing what is probably the tightest presidential race since the return of the country’s democracy in 1983 with conservative President Mauricio Macri facing an opposition ticket including ex-President Cristina Fernández, and the primary elections Sunday are expected to provide a hint of who might win October’s vote. Don't take it like that. I just used a famous phrase from Alfonsin that I'm sure you remember.

Should I take offense for being called a Gorila? That word doesn't make any sense to me.

There is no way out. Both sides are the same bs. The system is so corrupt that whomever wins can't guarantee any future.

Then it boils down to Espert o Del Caño. Both of them more respectable that Macri or FF.

I take it “like that” because I know where it is coming from..., pebete...

“Tan mal no nos va” ... to us ~4.000.000 pensioners with the lowest pension..., huhhhh...?
    In 2015 those 4.000.000 pensioners got ~650 U$D monthly + free medicines...
In 2019 those same 4.000.000 pensioners get ~200 U$D monthly... no medicines...
Macri & Co. have declared that they want it down to ~100 U$D... no medicines...
“Tan mal no nos va”..., huhhhh...?

If the word “Gorilla” doesn't make any sense to you..., it is perhaps high time for you to learn a bit of recent Argentinean history...
Shouldn'be sooo difficult for a well educated guy as you... You seem to know a lot of history from other countries...
“Eine Lüge muss nur oft genug wiederholt werden. Dann wird sie geglaubt.”..., for example...

And..., who the heck is FF...?
If you are you referring to AF..., how can you even begin to Think comparing him to MM...?
Q...: How many judicial cases are or have been against AF...? A...: 0
Q...: How many judicial cases are or have been against MM... A...: ~250
Q...: Who can account for every single penny in his lifelong patrimony...? A...: AF
Q...: Who can express himself congruently and not in set phrases and cliches...? A...: AF

I have already learned a lot about Argentine history. Gorila is just a word used for anybody exposing the incredible corrupt political system that started with Peron and is eating up our country to this day.

FF stands for Fernandez-Fernandez, don't play the fool.

Now back to AF, who do you think negotiated with Magnetto and receives orders from the embassy?

Similar to the other sh... but different scent

Who do you think AF and Madame will favorthe most? Do you really think they give a rat's ass about “La negrada” (as you kindly refer to our most needy ones)?

    Come on! Be realistic!

I believe you are not a Peronist. Am I right? If so, please do not legitimate this fascist primary. Go vote for Del Caño.

It's time to steer off of shark infested waters.

You still defend Peron, Father of inflation? Mentor of mafia union leaders? Traitor to his own defenders? History should be made out of facts and not myths. You are of course entitled to believe any folklore you like. I personally love Tolkien but I would never consider to elect Frodo.

AF, a hardworking, honest and intelligent guy. I agree on that and appreciate him. If just Cristina were out of the picture. It is too bad that such a talented man would go to waste if he wins.

Unless Alberto calls on Guillermo Nielsen (or did you expect such an intelligent man to delegate economics on some K marxist clown?) ...
That would really be a great “bamoooo a bolbeeeeer”!

    Enjoy this Peronist Sunday,

    Cheers!

Fair question. I kept my hopes high for Macri until the end of 2017. Just like I did before for Nestor until 2006/2007.

Anyway, I have already stated my motives. I wanted the Kirchners out and there was no acceptable alternative. 2015 I voted for Massa in the generals then Macri on the run off.

No way that I would have voted for Scioli. Now we've got Alberto F., a good man I recon. If he wasn't running with Cristina, you and I would be on the same side today.

Allthough Peron, and the peronism that ensued, had his roots in fascism, there came some decent and notable men that subscribed to justicialism yet were democratic and believed in institutions. These people I respect. I reject Peronism as an idea. I accept it as a reality.

Sauron's 13 points program is just what will get this country up and running again. If you carefully look into it, you will find the relevance of bringing dignity back to the working class.

Elitism is what we have today. Rich union leaders, protected enterpreneurs and political accomplices. It is then that this unholy “trinity” must be disrupted.

Just ponder how much money do unions run through their leaders sticky fingers? A mere 10% decrease in social deductions would put more meals in the hand of workers, far away from ambicious union crooks.

    Your move.

Right. One thing for sure that job won't be in the government.

There exists the potential for a million jobs just by keeping the most money on the current workers' hands. This alone can boost internal consumption and small to middle businesses to boom.

Most companies today are overworking their existing employees. Instead of hiring 2 people for a job, SMEs hire one an pay extra hours under the table. Here are the numbers on an hypothetical 10.000 nominal salary:

    1. Company pays 16000.
    2. Employe gets 8000.
    3. The rest goes to the state and unions.

(Other activities would be 14500, 8000 employee, state and unions 6500)

For every 2.3 current employees one job could be created if the economy is growing and inflation under control.

SMEs are the power house. Not Rocca, Perez Companc et al. I guess you could agree with this las statement.

Just cut the unions part a bit and you'll get a cascading effect throughout the economy. Centralize health coverage in the ANSES -by the use of existing technology- and keep the sticky fingers out of reach.

Incidentally, most of my leftist friends agree on this 100%.

    Suuuure, I say....
Now give me just three (3) Argentinean SME's names (or areas of activity) that will be able to survive the brutal competition of foreign products & services that the “open borders” - “no tariffs” ultra-liberal Espert policies will provoke...
I'll make it easier for you..., give me just two (2)...
    One (1)...?

I SPECIFICALLY asked you above about SPECIFIC working places..., some an average CABECITA NEGRA can put FOOD ON THE TABLE with..., not just “Invisible hand” talk or teorìa del derrame bla...,bla...,

All I got until now from you is sarasa..., pindonga y cuchuflito...

    D-espert-ate...., pebete...!

That's the point. No pindonga or Cuchuflito. Let's suppose for a minute you are looking for a job and have a set of skills. Would you go out and try to compete at something you are not good at?

Now let's suppose it is Argentina who is looking for a job, which activities would you pursue? What are we good at besides growing crops?

Are we any good at consumer electronics? No

Are we good at manufacturing mechanic parts? Definitely

Are we good at transforming crops into processes foods? We are great at that.

Are we good at engineering? Yes.

I'm not saying that we can turn a “cabecita negra” into an engineer or skilled designer overnight. However, with the right amount of capital, many of these activities could have a tremendous impact on creating jobs in the short term. In fact, despite the current adverse economic climate, this areas still show a slow but steady growth.

I will give you a small example of an area in which unskilled and/or marginalized people can be quickly included and also have a chance to learn: Application Testing. Demand on this keeps on growing and in many cases it is an activity which can be carried out by using a low end smart phone, a device which most unskilled people can handle.

That is just an example out of many activities that are carried out by some SMEs and startups. Another big area of growth -besides the current delivery apps- are “targeted services”. This last one is about filling the gap of corporate business processes for which big enterprises are too slow or dumb to solve. Whomever can read and add/subtract can do this. Even if you haven't had any contact with a computer before, handling a mouse and a keyboard can be learned at he job in two weeks. Huge demand.

I could go on all night about all sorts of activities in several other fields like energy recycling (yes, you heard that right), micro assemblies, etc but am reaching the char limit.

Me voy a Mendoza, San Juan. Me acuerdo particularmente enero del 2002. No podia creer ver tanta abundancia y nosotros tan hundidos y desesperanzados.
