Argentine President Mauricio Macri finally, on Wednesday, reached out to the winner of Sunday’s primary vote -- initially through a Whatsapp message. The message led to a “long and good” phone call between the two, the first since Alberto Fernandez’s resounding victory turned him into the clear favorite to win the Oct. 27 election.     Alberto Fernández doesn’t have a single accusation for improprieties from the time he was a government official.

    Cristina has several accusations and ongoing legal pr but not a single conviction thus far in spite of the years passed.

    Incidentally, Mauricio Macri accumulates over 90 denunciations, seven of them serious.

    As a result, talking casually about corruption as if it were an absolute and proven true isn’t the best way of assessing what’s going on.

    Let's hope he keeps it that way. I'm not so sure about his environment though.

    As most of the peronist leaders, he lives in a large a luxurious apartmen in the most expensive area of Buenos Aires (Puerto madero). But the apparment is not of his own. It is a lended apparment....another homeless....
