  As long as expenses [waste+stealing] are ALWAYS going to be much more than the income, the only practical solution may be a final awakening of the masses which will NEVER happen! So brace yourself and tighten your belt further!

  The life of us Brazilians has never been easy. With the current government that murders children I believe it will be much worse. So for the first time I agree with you: the masses need to wake up!

  NEED to, but will they?
  
  Didn't you notice them supporting the government by singing, yelling & dancing on the streets and CELEBRATING with fireworks; because now they have to:
  - work [if they did find work]
  - work for more number of years
  - earn less
  - sacrifice more
  - get NOTHING in return
  
  MAYBE, they WILL wake-up, if they find time to spare after the Soap-Opera-Serials & after the football-matches.
  
  Or maybe they will NEVER wake-up
  - because they are so happy to live in misery
  - because they are so used to the day-to-day suffering that they'll never like it if the economic situation improves!
