There is huge opposition to Bercow being given a peerage after he steps down from the Speakership. If, as expected, Johnson and the Conservatives win the forthcoming election, the chances of Johnson proposing Bercow for a life barony are singularly remote.
The question is why is this piece appearing in Mercopenguin, a British government propaganda organ supposedly devoted to America, South America and the South Atlantic?
