    Geeeeee...
    - How refreshing to see a white christian educated mongrel face..., instead of that brown Pacha-mamaean ignorant Indian one...

    - I also notice with pleasure that Jeanine has abandoned her cheap home peroxided hair look of yesterday and invested ~20U$D in a professional bleaching with corresponding contrasting stripes...

    Doesn't she look almost Scandinavian...?
    Bolivias future just got brighter...
    Don't ya Think...?

I thought you liked blonds? Never mind, I'm sure Chicureo will be very happy to see Añez in charge.

'In Washington, a senior Trump administration official said: “Morales’ departure is indeed a positive step to begin calming the situation on the ground in Bolivia.”'

That's highly debatable, thought I daresay the new government will be happy to break out the tear gas and rubber bullets. The fact they won't guarantee safety for their MAS counterparts doesn't exactly speak well of their intentions.

Gentlemen please, there is a Lady in a presidency that certainly is far more physically attractive. She has to call for a new democrat election in 90 days. Whether you like it or not, Morales overstayed his popularity a long time ago.
It does not matter what Trump or Piñera thinks, but instead the MAJORITY of the people, which most are non-European.

You think CFK doesn't use hair color?

We are back in the 1970s, when the Plan Cóndor was being applied by the USA in Latin America to get rid of those pesky “communists.”

”At the (OAS) a group of 15 countries including Brazil, the United States and Canada, called for new elections and an end to violence.“

What a coincidence! Just before having to go into hiding and later to exile, Evo Morales had accepted the recommendation of the OAS and called for new elections -- but the golpistas would have none of that.

The subsequent enthusiastic support of the USA government and the clearly illegal appointment of Jeanine Añez by ”lawmakers,” as coyly reports MP, reveals that nobody is following any rules. The Senate lacked quorum and was not in a position to legally accept Evo Morales' resignation (and so he legally remains president) and even less to appoint a new president, even interim.

“Video footage...showed police battling supporters of Morales...”

Funny how the same police wasn't anywhere to be seen when co-ordinated groups of thugs were ransacking the residences of Evo Morales' government officials and family members.

Niceties like lawfare and media complicity are now out, while the brutal methods of the traditional coup d'etat are back in force in Latin America.

I knew you'd like her. But how can she hold an election while roads are barricaded and people are fighting in the streets, with 2/3 of Congress (quite reasonably) refusing to cooperate, and how can candidates campaign if the police refuse to protect them? The last election had irregularities, this one's gonna be a shit show.

I see they have indeed brought out the tear gas...

The military wants a democratic transition of presidential power with elections to be called within 90 days. Those “pesky communists” are the anarchists that do not seek a freely democratic government which is typically for their evil mentality.

As far as hair color, my preference is for brunettes...

Ah yes, the military. That famous promoter of democracy in Latin America.

Morales had already agreed to new elections and changing the electoral authorities, as the OAS recommended and the protesters originally demanded. The opposition could have tried negotiating with the government to enable elections they had confidence in, checked by the OAS and other outside observers. But that wasn't enough for them - there was still a good chance they'd lose a fair election - and the military stepped in.

As for hair, I also prefer dark. Sorry Scandinavians.

Chicureo, who lately has had little to say about the bloody repression going on in his country Chile, has come out to champion the latest Bolivian bloody coup d'etat and is obviously in such good spirits he even comments about Bible-thumping Jeanine Añez's looks.

“The military wants a democratic transition,” notes Chicureo in spite it was the military's call that prompted Evo Morales to resign.

“Those 'pesky communists' are the anarchists that do not seek a freely democratic government,” Chicureo also notes, in an apparent justification of the likely proscription of Morales' political party, the Movement for Socialismo (MAS).

Come on, Chicureo. Their party name identifies them as Socialists. But you said those Communists are in fact Anarchists.

Could it be they are in fact Trotskyists, bakuninists or crypt Maoists?

    Hermanito Shileno...

Firstly..., I want to congratulate all the momios of Shile for their great “sucsess” last year...
    “Camillo Catrillanca”..., Presente...

Secondly..., it makes me happy that the profits of your company are going up with the raising Dollar exchange rate...
    - A perfect opportunity for an humanist like you to employ some local rotos besides the haitians..., making all of them happy...,work less and earn more..., right...?
    - But..., have you considered the negative aspects of the high dollar rate...?
All the “Cafes con Piernas” of Shile full of Argies patudos and the “Monstruo de Viña” resounding in a beautiful porteño accent... ;-)

Thirdly..., A 500m2 house in Las Brisas de Shicureo with a 7.000 m2 patio for 70 millions...?
That's cheap... ! I thought you saiid that Shicureo was an upscale place...
A morality's Población Callampa..., more likely...
You should maybe consider moving to Lago Ranco together with people of the highest moral standards...;-)

    Estimado THINK

You have Carlos Gardel, incredibly good steaks and a far superior self-estimation of your national character...

    Acaricia mi sueño
El suave murmullo de tu suspirar
    Como ríe la vida
Si tus ojos negros me quieren mirar…

The wine is outstanding this evening... We bow in awe of your greatness... especially in your intellectual superior knowledge of home prices in Chile... ...thank you for the entertainment...

Meanwhile, Madam Lafarge informs me, we're buying a new apartment in Viña because of security issues and our view was obstructed by too many tall buildings... This makes me unhappy, but I have no control.

We're caught on the fortunate side of my nation's society, while the unfortunates have caused their own suffering and loss of economic success. The recent unrest has sadly harmed the quality of their lives. My production and harvest costs are declining, my income is rising due to currencies exchange and taxes will rise.

My only complaint has been the increase of insurance costs of fixed assets due to arson and theft. Bottom line is still far in my advantage.

Like I said, little changes on our continent...

As far as Bolivia, I have the same attitude about the failed nation, is about the same as my countrymen... we don't care... They have a good beer company and a few of the women from Santa Cruz are considered attractive, but we could care less...

I think it quaint that they maintain a navy...

...for ~70 million shilean pesos..., I would like to buy Pampita's for 50...

Anyhow..., Shicuréo..., if you are trying to irritate me by imitating us Argies in our ostentatious ways..., you are failing badly...
We are inimitable..., almost unique..., hermanito...;-)
You better stay in your typical role of huaso cuequero, cuico y culposo...
    You know...:
    - We Argies go shopping to Paris..., France
    - You Shilenos..., shop in Paris..., Cencosud...

Humm, Something is rotten in the state of S. America, methinks.

Rioting in Venezuela, Equator, Bolivia, Chile and probably Argentina as well soon and maybe even Brazil.

We shall see how “robust” the relatively new democratic structures and institutions are in these countries, as to whether they come out of this as some form of recognisable democracies, or revert to type.

I suspect much will depend on what the various militaries do.
