The EU are not going to “shift its stance on fisheries” nor will there be “any new proposal from London”, Madame de Montchalin.

The EU don’t actually bring anything to the table in fisheries negotiations, hence trying to tie it to a broader trade deal (which isn’t going to happen anyway) to blackmail concessions, and where they are starting from a maximalist position to say the least.

This is probably the first issue where it sinks in they don’t have the upper hand.
