The Brazilian Amazon has never lost so many square kilometers in eleven years. Between August 2018 and July 2019, 10,129 square kilometers of jungle were lost, according to the National Institute for Space Research (Inpe). Read full article

    Crimes against Brazilians, crimes against the planet. Meanwhile, Jair Bolsonaro will stop at nothing to favour private interests. Irreversible damage facilitated by lawfare maneuvers that allowed this mediocre, fanatic man to get this huge and beautiful country's presidency. Oh, but let's not kid ourselves: those who propped Bolsonaro to power care little, if any, about the type of planet they'll leave to future generations -- including their own grandchildren.
