“The US ambassador in Brasilia warned of “consequences” if Brazil chooses Chinese telecoms company Huawei”...
What position is the United States in to “warn” anything...we are in such turmoil, Trump is 99% a Lame Duck President, so even President Jair Bolsonaro's love affair with him is of no long lasting influence...Besides you don't “warn” a friend...you advise, you recommend or you suggest...but not warn. So one man's personality has soured another path of co-operation...a shame because friends are hard to come by...But Enemy's are a dime a Dozen, and Trump has an abundance of dimes as we've seen...

Actually Trump will be a powerful leader through January 2025. China is an important trading partner of Brazil but so is the USA.

China has become clearly very undesirable to rely upon.

My friend, perhaps you should watch the NEWS. Trump seems to be in a self destruction setting and his current allies are beginning to distance themselves. Americans may be foolish but we are not stupid. We know that once someone starts usurping power it can not be stopped easily...but time will tell, won't it...

Will a change in administration in the US, change the attitude towards Huawei?

    I somehow doubt it.

Some things from Trumps administration may well survive longer than Trump.
