    - IF one wants to be respected ..., one DOES NOT FALSELY “QUOTE” A DOCTORED, WRONG TRANSLATION of what the other part declares..
    CAPISCE...?

    - María Fernanda Araujo DID NOT SAY...:
***“If you want to be respected when visiting the Falklands, we must respect the Islanders”***

    - What María Fernanda Araujo DID SAY was...:
“Si queremos ser respetados cuando viajamos a las islas, sobre todo los familiares de los soldados cuyos restos yacen en el cementerio argentino de Darwin, entonces tenemos que respetar a los habitantes, a los isleños”.

NOW..., IN ENGRISH..., for the monolinguals and them tergiversators...:
”If we want to be respected when traveling “TO THE ISLANDS”, specially us relatives of the soldiers whose remains lay at the Argentinean cemetery at Darwin, then we have to respect the inhabitants, the Islanders...”

    Anyhow...

I understand the Argie position... mostly, the government want to distract from its dire problems to get public support, I don’t fault it for the distraction, I fault it for the obvious warmongering.

It’s my belief that every human has human rights, regardless of how they got to a land or what their ancestors crimes against other’s were, people must be able to live the life they wish (if it is legal that is lol).

I don’t want people to be oppressed, that’s why I fight for freedom across the world (albeit in my home on a keyboard lol). I just want people to understand that now we live in the age of computers and the Internet, everyone transcends borders in communication, who owns what in terms of countries doesn’t matter anymore if people want to be in that nation.

“This differentiates us from Socialist Europe ...” Wrong.
“Shouting fire in a crowded theater” is a frequent paraphrasing of a quote from Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr.'s opinion in the United States Supreme Court case Schenck v. United States in 1919. The quote is used to express the limits on free speech under the terms of the First Amendment of the United States Constitution.

Please, the people of Argentina want peace and good relation with our British friend. But, the islands must go back Argentina rule as historical ruler and owner of them. The people on the island must also speak the Spanish because this is the language in South of America. In Europe the British people they go to Spain and want to speak Engish but Spain not accept this and Argentina will not accept englihs language in Malvinas. The British people need speak more than the English and accept desitny of Malvinas and Malvinas people.

I have no support for warmongering, I was born in ‘99 during Tony Blair’s rule of Britain, I never supported the invasion of Iraq and still don’t, Freedom cannot be imposed from without, it must be created from within.

Last war Britain fought to takeover land was in the Second Word War (To liberate territory from the nazis), I don’t care what my ancestors did, I never invaded a territory, so why should I accept responsibility for them.

Returning to you “Good British Petroleum People” so Argentinian claims on Antarctica are purely scientific and not guided by the prospect of oil? Imperialism is not on the agenda anymore, and you keep saying the “Brutish Empire” as a vague insult but I can name three worse empires than Britain; Third Reich (It was by definition technically an empire), Belgium and Spain.

The problem with Stink is not what his forbears did to get that land, but that he wants to do the same again to the Falkland Islanders to get their land.

Argentina has run out of S. America to steal from the Indians, so they thought they would have a go at stealing some British territory in the S. Atlantic, only to find out the hard way that unlike Atahualpa or Montezuma, the “English Pirates” have more than just sticks and stones with which to defend their territory.

Would you like it if the British, now, don’t give me bullshit about the empire, I am talking now, would you like it if the British government invaded your country and told you “You have to speak English and accept our way of life” of course you wouldn’t accept it, so why do the Falkland Islanders have to accept Argentina’s imperialism...?

Is that all you people ever focus on? The past? If Argentina got the Falklands, what would happen? How would it make your life, and the lives of Argentinians as well as the Islander’s lives better? The only resources of true value are the fish and oil, and even then, oil prices are shit and fish doesn’t make that much.

The purpose of life is to live to make yourself happy and better off, but I guess people who live in a country that has defaulted and rife with corruption don’t understand that getting control of a set of islands won’t make your problems go away.

Why do I need to propose a change to the status quo when the islanders don’t want it?

I’m not a politician, I’m not going to say what could be done, but the people of the islands wish for the status quo.

Forcing some sort of dual-sovereignty is not in the interests of the islanders, you say you want to respect their way of life but are refusing to respect their most simplistic wish: To choose their own destiny

Just because the distance is great does not make them any less British, Calais is less than 20 miles from Dover, yet Calais is still French, not English. So why do you think because the islands are 200 miles from Argentina that it automatically must be Argentinian?

People should have the freedom to choose, to be free from intimidation and fear. That is what it means to be free, Argentina should thank Britain, for it was Margaret Thatcher who gave Argentina democracy.

I don’t want to go round in circles constantly, it’s always the same arguments time and time again on this website.

I am British first and English second, I don’t care if you hate my culture, at least respect people enough to not insult them, in our eyes the Argentinians are brutes, trying to force their way of life on innocent people who just want to be left alone.

El Diego, you need to study the true history of the Falklands, Argentina has never owned the islands legally, only 2 illegal invasions, Britain settled the islands before Argentina existed ,Vernet asked London permission to go to the islands and that was given, only when Buenos A sent the military there did t Britain kick them out, the civilians were invited to stay, some did, some chose to leave,as for 1982 you should be grateful that Britain got rid of your evil military junta, France. and Spains historical records back the British claim,
Argentina was never in the game, the 3,600 people that live there own the islands.

People want to move to Argentina? no they don't. You are the nation of Viveza Criolla, where cheating and lying is part of your culture and society. To the point where the Viveza Criolla people ignored the Covid 19 lockdown and now Argentina is one of the worst affect Covid 19 countries in the world, completely unable to even bring its FIRST WAVE of Covid 19 under control. The Argie Peronists sacrificed whatever was left of the shattered economy to stop the spread of Covid 19, but the people of Viveza Criolla said “JAJAJA WE ARE ARGIES, WE DON'T NEED TO FOLLOW THE RULES JAJAJA REEEEE” so that sacrifice was in vain.
