United Kingdom has effectively barred the sale of the FA-50 Fighting Eagle to Argentina, with the South Korean manufacturer informing Buenos Aires that it is unable to supply the light fighter and strike jet since it has British-made parts. Read full article

We're waiting for the walnut planks that are scheduled to arrive from the south — where they milled the old walnut trees we felled earlier this year.
The horrendous starvation situation in Yemen is a direct result of a civil war financed by Iran vs. the Saudi and UAE governments. Efforts to provide humanitarian relief have been blocked by the Yemeni themselves. It's a tragedy self imposed with outside influence.
Regarding Sweden: After an unfortunate disaster in coping with an unknown virus — the daily Swedish death rate has steadily declined showing a lower than average European rates where they strictly locked down their economies.
I see that many parts of Europe are reimposing strict lockdowns which is destructive to the society and the related negative impacts will result in severe unprecedented damage.
There is a point where you realize the cure is worse than the disease itself.
After a few mistakes — Sweden adopted the best policy in handling the pandemic.
One interesting curiosity is that reported deaths due to influenza have disappeared.
You are very correct about the political chances why Trump can't win because the polls clearly define a Biden victory. There are Democrats and even Republicans cheering the certain demise of the Trump madman.
After all — how could Biden possibly lose? He is such a dynamic individual and almost the entire media — including Twitter and Facebook are strongly backing him.
I still remain convinced Trump will win the reelection.

When I entered as a cadet — your naval fleet was incredible with a heavy cruiser and aircraft carrier. Even your German submarines were at the top of their capability.
Sincerely — the only aspect of your armed forces we were not intimidated was your army and their ridiculous TAM tanks.
If it were not for our UK allies we would have been completely screwed as Senator Kennedy was blocking us from rebuilding our military.

The pilot can configure them according to the type of mission to be performed. It is the same format, for example, used by fifth-generation super fighters, such as the American Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor.
For the role of light attack aircraft, the Pampa has five supports (four on the wings and one under the fuselage) that allow the placement of pods (detachable containers) with weapons: from a 30-millimeter cannon to different types of bombs, machine guns, and rockets. A combination that makes it ideal for countries that do not have funds that justify the incorporation of high-performance fighter-bombers.
“The Pampa III is very versatile, with a very competitive cost per hour of flight, below 1,500 dollars and is at the same level as the planes made today in Italy, the Czech Republic and South Korea. And for the features it has and the flight envelope it has, added to its cost, is a super competitive aircraft,” explains Antonio Beltramone, president of FAdeA
The possibility of projection of the Pampa III is based on developments that add potential to the aircraft. One of the most outstanding is the flight simulator, created entirely in FAdeA and which is in the development phase. The structure is mounted on a real Pampa and gives shape with a large screen: there is flight sound and a screen with a field of vision that exceeds 140 degrees.
With this, the Argentine Aircraft Factory resurfaces with its star product the Pampa III, the advanced aircraft with combat capabilities, designed and built-in Argentina!

After all — Chile requires a large navy for our enormous EEZ portion of the Pacific.
I'm still here at the farm — flummoxed on how to cross a sewer pipe though the stone foundation of the barn. The 19th century builders were savvy engineers in over-calculating the support characteristics of over 1 meter thick adobe walls supported with river stone boulders nearly 2 meters into the soil.
The original land owners were the powerful Echenique family — one of the largest landowners of the time. (The farmhouse was solely for the property manager's family.)
Then came the Panama Canal and although my ancestors in Valparaiso were financially hurt hard — the Echeniques were eliminating mules at their salitre operations and heavily investing in machinery — so the unnecessary small holding in Panquehue used for producing alfalfa for the mules was sold.
My great-grandfather purchased the farm and gave it as a wedding present to his newly wed-daughter and my paternal-grandfather. They never used the farmhouse as their primary home as it was too far from civilization — but they did lavishly remodel it as their country home about 1917. For decades our family mostly produced corn and wheat with a large vineyard for Aguardente.
Then of course — the Germans figured out how to synthesize nitrate — and then came the worldwide economic depression. — of course the horrendous droughts-earth quakes and political upheavals have always been challenging.
So I need to treat the barn structure modification with respect as its survived a great deal. (I've been told since I was a young boy that adobe walls require a century to completely settle.)

Her problem is that she does not like Madame — and although she treats me as a nephew — she infamously once commented that I had married below my class. (Which obviously is converse — but Madame knows of the social slight.)
People living here in the valley have their unique way of thinking. They also hold grudges against what families did to other families for generations.
The strangest folk perhaps — are my own cousins — who are still outraged that we felled the two old walnuts and painted the interior farmhouse walls white instead of the traditional apricot color.
I tolerate my cousins — but would allow Madame paint the exterior walls hot pink.
Despite her poor selection of husbands — her elegance is nonpareil. (White walls have changed the mood of the farmhouse.)

But it does not make sense for the government (aka taxpayers) to sell once something that is continually renewed. It would be better to sell rights each year, and would also allow them to adapt the amount sold according to how much is available.
One good result of the virus is that we have not had to suffer through so much tedious coverage of the US election as usual. Unless they are going to give us the vote, our media have no excuse for being so obsessed with it.

On the other hand, I see a difference in that you use the same soil each year, but need new water, and neither does the amount of soil vary from year to year.

I participated in the manual labor of converting the rocky hillsides into rich fertile soil for sustaining life with precious water effeciently pumped up from the aquifer below.
In only a few seasons a soil-bed can be depleted if misused. Fortunately the government hasn't figured out how to charge taxes for sunlight and air — but they'll figure a way.
