Sorry for not earlier responding to your post on the other thread — but my 'feminine creature' was thoroughly enraged with the new barn floor-tile pattern orientation — c'est la vie!
If you remember the Addams — perhaps you'll notice why I think Liz Wheeler is an adult Wednesday that dyed her hair blonde. (And please refrain from comparing Madame as Morticia as I would then have to make a similitude of yourself as Uncle Fester. Anyway — Madame DeFarge is far darker than Morticia when she's in an angry mood.)
I hope your Christmas will not be entirely alone — but I can imagine the silent bliss of fishing on the Mediterranean Sea...
...and I especially share your appreciation of telescopes. I also utilize Gutenberg — but prefer to read my grandfather's ignored library as there are so many of his favorites yet to explore. (Including an untouched collection of W.B.Yeats I'm ashamed to admit.)

Specifically to our world order — and wearing a mask has become a political submission.
I have NO problems with vaccines and hope they will allow our world to return to normalicy.
The real disaster of this pandemic has been the economic shutdown to the underprivileged — the middle class has been less affected — and the privileged have generally thrived. The ultra-wealthy have REALLY profited!
Take care of yourself and enjoy one of the greatest places on this flat earth...
