What a tragedy ! My condolences to those effected. I routinely travel by commercial bus in Brazil and consider it better and safer than driving on my own. Traffic habits are very poor in the country and aggressive, wannabe Ayrton Senna style driving is all too common. Many highways are two-lane, high speed, over-crowded with heavy truck traffic and risks are taken needlessly. Nevertheless, the typical bus driver is a skilled professionals who takes the responsibility seriously.
