Nearly 70% of Americans surveyed said they disapprove of Trump's actions in the run-up to Wednesday's assault Nearly 70% of Americans surveyed said they disapprove of Trump's actions in the run-up to Wednesday's assault

57% of Americans want President Donald Trump to be immediately removed from office after he encouraged a protest this week that escalated into a deadly riot inside the U.S. Capitol, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll.

The national public opinion survey, conducted Thursday and Friday, also showed that seven out ten of those who voted for the Republican President in November opposed the action of the hardcore supporters who broke into the Capitol while lawmakers were meeting to certify the election victory of Democrat Joe Biden.

Nearly 70% of Americans surveyed also said they disapprove of Trump's actions in the run-up to Wednesday's assault. At a rally earlier in the day, Trump had exhorted thousands of his followers to march to the Capitol.

The chaos on Capitol Hill, in which a police officer and four others died, has been widely condemned by both Democrats and Republicans.

Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives plan to introduce articles of impeachment against Trump on Monday.

Those claiming USA can no longer promote democracy, forget that America is more than some angry political supporters, under a million, under 0.5% in a population of 331 million. The overwhelming majority, over 330 million, did not storm the Capitol and realised that a minority hijacked the protest. . Thanks to USA, Guyana gained democracy for a population under 800,000 in August after a 5-month farrago orchestrated by racists to deny victory to British Indians, persecuted for over 60 years. Trump alone stood up to N.Korea, PRC, Venezuela and other totalitarians. The BLM minority, torchbearers of supremacy driven by racial envy, caused more global havoc during the year sympathising with a committed criminal, with statue stunts, desecration of the London cenotaph, sacrilege of heritage, renaming buildings, threatening Caucasian identity, attacking the UK Home Secretary as “the wrong minority” for deporting felons, politicising F1 and other sport, mauling classical music at BBC Proms, jeopardising world-class universities, poisoning society and claiming to suffer most in the pandemic . BLM claimed victory in the US election of a VP from whom they expect favours. Regardless of who is in the White House, America will always be the :Land of the Free and Home of the Brave, beloved bulwark of democracy, epitome of equality, champion of free enterprise, bastion of liberty and personal responsibility. Throughout the world, oppressive regimes tyrannize and oust migrants fleeing to USA and EU, not to PRC or Russia or Africa. WIthin hours US lawmakers resumed certification of the new president and POTUS conceded. One needs to keep the protest in perspective and focus on pandemic purgatory which PRC unleashed and BLM exploited.

Why do online rants by the loonies never know how to use a paragraph?

I especially liked the part about BLM threatening caucasian identity.... I didn't see too many caucasians acting very oppressed when they were chasing and killings cops in their insurrection.
