The chief of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Kristalina Georgieva said on Friday that the fund is working towards reaching an agreement on a new loan deal with Argentina and the next round of meetings will focus on the details. However, “'it takes two to tango' so both sides need to do our part and find the pathway to an agreement, and we are not yet at that point.” Read full article

The Tango is a dance where the male treats the woman as a whore...
...and in a beautiful choreography the woman accedes into a dramatic submission.
Years ago I remember our instructor told our group — that the male treats his parner as a cigarette — lighting her up with passion and sucking the soul from her — before discarding into the street gutter and walking away.
Gerorgieva is eventually is going to suffer a similar fate when tie current Tango ends...

Well sounds like they might “dance their way” to a deal, Bulgarian vertical erotic’s notwithstanding.
Feb 06th, 2021 - 04:00 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Questions are what will be the usury interest rate and what economic “reforms” will be required.
Going to be painful.
In our own passionate and at times very contemptuous marriage — dancing the Tango is a sensuous thing we really enjoy.
Feb 06th, 2021 - 04:12 pm - Link - Report abuse 0The dance, it is said, is a Greek tragedy in three minutes. The lyrics tell stories of nostalgia, sweet and bitter.
A man has been wounded by a woman, once a simple girl who lived in a boarding house but has gone on to embrace a life of luxury in the arms of many suitors.
”To study tango is to study the vicissitudes of the Argentine soul,” Jorge Luis Borges wrote.
Our Argentine neighbors have an inherited taste for intense drama, which is reflected in their national dance.
Tango is not just about sadness, it’s about the pleasure of being sad.
Say what you want to say about our neighbors — but their national dance is outstanding.
Unfortunately the IMF is going to truly experience intense drama — Argentine style!

Feb 06th, 2021 - 08:24 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Considering our pathetic national dance — that we are properly taught to revere...
Yours began in the brothels of Buenos Aires, where it was sometimes danced by pairs of men waiting for their favorite whore...
And yet — despite all logic your national seductive and sensuous — as well as the closest to actual copulation imaginable — has captured the World.

Feb 06th, 2021 - 10:34 pm - Link - Report abuse -1As we’re neighbors (although you're currently out of our neighborhood) I’ll just leave that curious thought NOT be answered.
I still have last night’s opened elixir — with still over half its wonderful content — and another thick sirloin to grill as yesterday — accompanied again by a beautiful purple tomato for my simple evening meal.
I can read uninterrupted in the rare farmhouse silence — almost ideal for me...
Looking into my intoxicating dark red wine filled goblet with the pale turquoise sky dimming I leave you with one of my favorite quotes:
“He sat on as the sun's rays came slowly down through the trees, lower and lower, and when the lowest reached a branch not far above him it caught a dewdrop poised upon a leaf. The drop instantly blazed crimson, and a slight movement of his head made it show all the colours of the spectrum with extraordinary purity, from a red almost too deep to be seen through all the others to the ultimate violet and back again.” ~ Patrick O'Brian

Feb 07th, 2021 - 03:19 pm - Link - Report abuse 0You obviously haven't been listening to the lyrics of this particular IMF and Argentine dance...
Tango lyrics are usually about love and life in a pessimistic, dark manner — but in this particular dance it's all about the woman being violated in an intimate manner before being left in the gutter of despair...
There is no love in this Tango dance — only complete betrayal...
