Either one of the contenders faces eventual complete failure.

The indigenous there are so hard headed that it is the only country in the world that the Vatican gave special dispensation for the virgin Maria to be depicted with wings.

According to what I was told — the natives were so hard-headed that they refused to accept that Maria did not have wings.

Now the World is going to have to allow Ecuador special dispensation as they are incapable of accepting their bleak reality.

(Sort of reminds me of Teresa in Canada — also unable to accept her reality with a frigid polar vortex outside her mother's basement in Canada.)

    My dear hermanito mestizo indolatinoamericano...

No news..., that for the Latinoamerican exploitative white class (+/÷ 15% of the Continents population..., mostly composed by mestizos born of peroxide bleached mestizas..., btw.)..., the hard-headed indigenous are “The Problem”...

One of our “wannabe-whites” educational problem we ..., the Thinking ones..., are working on...

Ecuador is a lovely country to visit.

They've been on a steady slow decline since their Peruvian neighbors liberated a massive part of their territory.

As a strategic military partner to Chile they have been helpful in the past, but sadly they are as rudderless as Bolivia.

You should be careful in utilizing terms like Latinoamerican exploitive white class because that might hurt some of them reading such inflammatory language.

I remember the same rhetoric when they used when most of our family farm was expropriated. I remember many were celebrating and cheering in our lovely valley...

...and of course crop production and employment evaporated...

It really does not matter what color the skin color is of the next President — as the country's future is BLACK.

    Hermanito...

What you can't remember (because you where just a sweet little undeveloped egg in a little girls ovaries that one day would become your Mamá)..., is that the Shilean process of **evaporation of crop production..., rural employment & population”*** began in the late 1930's..., under the reign of the paternalistic..., authoritary..., rigid hierarchy of the traditional agrarian structure of Shile.., concentrated in some few feudal inbred families..., characterized by their complete productive incapacity.., which culminated in the late 1950's..., forcing Shile to become a net importer of food...

I Think..., if the scope for your dialogue with a Thinking one is deeper than simple trolling..., you should consider being less subjective and more objective in your argumentation...

Wasn't that a large part of South America?

In the the 1940s wine production had to be strictly reduced as Chile had one of the highest rates of alcoholics imaginable and by the 1950s the government took draconian measures to restrict the production of wine.

It was not until the radical restructuring of our economy via the Chicago Boys did Chile gain an admired position in the international wine market.

Imagine if Argentina would restructure its wine export industry using Chile's advantageous tax benefits for producers...

...imagine if it were also for Argentina's corn, soy, wheat and beef production...

    ...IMAGINE...

But then again we're talking about Argentina who's beef producers have migrated much of their export operations to your little neighboor...

I the spirit of friendship — I'm very happy — that you're so happy — because I have no dog in the current fight for Ecuador.

Everyone that is really anyone is related to the 10 or so ruling families there.

It's a person's social rating and the school they attended that places them in the hierarchical structure. (That's part of the 5% of total population.)

Like I said — the future for the country is black.
