Think- Do you know what the national target dates are for the vaccine as regards age groups and finally everyone? - well all adults I guess same as in most other countries. Appreciate a big country to cover.

    Mr. Timlander1...

I know as much as you will if you choose to read the “Plan Estrategico” PDF on the attached link...:
    https://www.argentina.gob.ar/coronavirus/vacuna

Argentina is..., like most of the world..., strugling...
In my humble opinion..., we were faring quite well until the end of May 2020.., when the current opposition parties..., worried about the growing popularity of the Peronists..., began to agitate for mass gatherings in protest of “Facemask Dictatorship”..., “The World's longest Quarentine”..., etc..., etc..., etc...
Nature went its way..., contagion exploded..., we are where we are... :-(

You folks better keep listening to Beccy's Covid19 advice.., if you don't want to be the South Atlantic Gibraltar...

    Take care...

    Thankyou Think,
Seems there is indeed a plan, no fixed target date but there is a hell of a lot of vaccine needed - good to see teachers are classes as a group - daft not to do them early on as schools need to be open when and where safely possible but kids get and carry Covid often with no or very mild symptoms- but if they pass it on to teachers = no staff as islolating/sick - and thus no schools!
Yre our Beccy does a cracking job and we have just been Damn lucky, and a few not happy with some of the travel restrictions - but better alive than possibly not say !,
Yes Argentina did indeed seem to have it under a lid initially and was holding it.
    Stay Safe You and Yours.

Chile is on track to vaccinate a large number of our citizens with most with the Sinovac as we were very limited to the Pfizer alternative.

Although many are highly skeptical of the Chinese vaccine — I’ve encouraged everyone to consider taking the free injections as it should help us recover from this closed society and destruction of businesses.

Let people themselves decide what truly is a risk and end these ridiculous lockdowns.

Otherwise our world economy will fall into an economic depression.

Frankly, the mortality rates do not justify the loss of individual freedom.

    Cheers!

    Don't be soooo stupid..., Shicuréo...

The Thinking People of this World are doing the right thing with this Covid19 bug...

After all..., this COULD be the beginning of a series of serious pandemics..., ya know...?

You remember by chance you mentioning of my political Genoese family when discusing “Per Usura”...?

Well..., Same family were proprietors of the ships that brought “Yersinia Pestis” to Italy during the XIV century...

Just that little nasty fellow exterminated ⅓ of the known World Consumers back then...

What do you THINK would happen with your avocado business (and your “freedoms”) if history repeats itself..., as it has the nasty habit of doing...?

Your opinion of what constitutes ‘The Thinking People of this World’ are
violating the collective individual liberties with arbitrary stupid Orwellian stupid repressive rules of nonsense.

There are some marvelous contradictions that will not be explained for years.

I do accept your valid argument that the ‘Covid19 bug’ may indeed have originated somewhere else than Wuhan... ...perhaps even Italy... ...or perhaps more even sinister...

You are correct however that we should allow for the free and open commerce of healthy nutritious food — such as avocados...

I’m having too much fun as the occupation des Français has officially decamped and I’ve been enjoying my Honda in the hills. (My personal celebration of Lent)

You actually did have me superficially dive into the murky depth of George — which was too dense to comprehend.

But as a good Boxer that I am — I’ll pay homage to my little loyal Tetonic friend when I see him next with tribute from his Uncle Snowball.

Stay well and enjoy the good life — we only have a finite period as we are reminded that “You Are Dust, And Dust You Shall Return”

Firstly I must say that it makes me happy that you are fully enjoying this “short flash” of light between Pulvis et Umbra we call life...

Secondly..., you actually are having me superficially dive into the murky depth of the military mind..., hermanito...

I assume that you..., as an archetypal Shilean Milico (with appurtenant esprit de corps..., dead comrades fetish and all that circus)..., deep admirer of the great USA military history..., are aware that in the last ~100 years..., the toll of WWI..., WWII..., Korea..., Viet-Nam..., Iraq and Afghanistan was ~500.000 Yankee soldiers “short flashes”...

    - Why then do you Think that last year's excess loss of ~500,000 civilian Yankee “short flashes” doesn't justify some momentary “set aside” of a few of our individual freedoms..., to protect ourselves and our next..?

In short..., I Think every “short flash” deserves protection and respect...

Arguing the pandemic mortality rates are futile and demeaning to your future esteem — so I respectfully agree to disagree.

Although I admire many things about Americans — frankly as leaders in warfare (especially after post 1945) they are disappointing with their continuous warfare in places where they’ve only made things far worse — such as Libya, Iraq and Syria to name a few.

I would suggest you reflect on Sun Tzu’s observation that “The supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting.”

Not that my country can be compared in the same high ideal — but we have accomplished something similar since the Bolivians and Peruvians had to be given an attitude adjustment about international borders.

We are just a sparkle of a short flash in a vast universe — in what seems to be endless time and we will soon all be dust.

Sadly — Robert M Pirsig is not an author I have had the opportunity to read. From what I see referenced — it might be a good read on e-book when I decamp to Viña. (Although I currently have a number of books already on my list.)

I see his actual 1966 Honda ridden by the writer when he took the trip that inspired the book of travel and philosophy, has been donated to the Smithsonian.

I did read a biography of Soichiro Honda and his quest to design against all odds which is inspirational.

Somehow you’ve mistaken someone else’s reading list — as those are not on my list of only four texts.

One which has just been added is for reading out-loud with my grandchildren: ‘Der satanarchäolügenialkohöllische Wunschpunsch’ by Michael Ende which will be my most challenging read — as I will have to phonetically practice each chapter in advance.

Madame has belittled my attempt and my son has rolled his eyes — but I’ve set myself on a diabolical mission to impress my two Enkelkinder.

(The book was recommended by our Schwiegertochter.)

Yes, I'll need lots of luck.

The Grange required a third language to qualify for high marks.

My father recommended German as he wanted me to study engineering.

I focused instead on English literature — but stuck with my German courses and was a miserable failure with only passing marks.

(The academy certainly didn't select me for my intelligence.)

Madame has been insistant that the children follow a trilingual path and I've decided to practice the pronunciation drills of my youth as a challenge.

And I may be scuttled like the Admiral Graf Spee — but I’m used to failure.

(Certainly reading some of the articles on your ConCen site alone are as challenging.)

Even the title of the book is a pronunciation puzzle meaning Satan, anarchy, archeology, lie, ingenious, alcohol and infernal — all in one single word.

I was given a challenge and I perhaps foolishly accepted — but I’m committed.

Plus, I’m not reading the entire book to the kinder — but some chapters.

Their mother is reading the majority of the book and I’ve loaded the audio to practice.

Changing to a darker aspect of life — Swedish death mortality rates are dropping at a rate better than the UK — but obviously Norway and other parts of Scandinavia have achieved better statistics.

German humor I've learned does not necessarily need to be funny! Sometimes I suspect there is little humor in their culture and yet — Michael Ende was a remarkably funny author.
